Restarting the Wii U? What? Is he just trying to put M2K off his pace or what, I don't think there's any problem with the game that you have to restart the whole game to fix.. If anything it's an issue with Mr E's controller.

I think it's a bug I've had happen where the controller just randomly has the joystick not work and the only fix is to either reset or just go back to the title screen and restart. I have it happen every so often. Unplugging and replugging the controller in doesn't fix it.

You can't boot the game without one. The Wii U menu doesn't use the Gamecube controller.

Why don't Greinja players use the damn Water Shuriken? They get good spacing, and instead just rush in for a random dash attack.

After the last balance patch they made the move quite laggy, so usingt it is a lot more risky.

Directional Influence. You can change the direction of your knockback ever so slightly, basically.
