I'm really contemplating not watching the Super Bowl because of Apex lol. That Melee stream was way too good. I can't wait until it starts again.

I need to check that out, I knew Leffen was going to win, but that was pure domination. Felt bad after the 3rd match. I think Chillin is letting his pride get to him, Melee's skill depth is so high between players that he had to know after the 2nd match that Leffen was on a completely different level. If you play Melee competitively you start to read players' levels.

There were a few Villagers, but IMO yours is better. Nothing to learn from.

False doesn't main Sheik? He's been playing Luigi all APEX and before as of recent.
None were very good, imo. Yours is a far better spacer and controller than anything that showed up at APEX. I could say that for a lot of the roster that showed up, actually.
How bad is the lag? I haven't bothered getting the hack pack since all my roommates play Melee and we got cubes, but I'm thinking of getting a wii just for it. Is it better or worse than playing on a HD TV?

I feel bad for Chillin, his face had that look when a professional player that's never made it to the highest levels realizes he'll never make it in the big leagues. All that training, all that preparation, and your best still isn't nearly good enough for reasons out of your control.

I can't feel bad for Chillin' after he talked all that smack.
Everyone else was being too aggressive with him. Not managing space with fair, not hiding behind Lloyds, etc. Just lots of rushdown for some reason.

colbol vs. bizzaro flame was probably the most hype pools match of the day. holy christ.
salty suite was awesome, as expected. the ganon ditto was awesome and hilarious. colbol vs. westballz truly was goku vs. vegeta. leffen vs. chillin was a 5-0 slaughter as expected.
by far my favorite set was PC vs. Ken. Their sets at MLG in 2006 were what got me into competitive Smash, so seeing those two play again nearly 10 years later at the biggest Melee tournament of all time was something very special. PC busting out the Falco and proceeding to do work was waaaaaaaaay too good. I marked out when Ken started countering. Hit me right in the nostalgia. All they needed to do was take game 5 to Mute City
Speaking of marking out, you could not have had a better end to the day than the $1000 call out by Mango to Leffen. Which, by the way, is the #1 most upvoted topic on Reddit right now. Now THAT is a hype matchup that can go either way, unlike Leffen vs. Chillin. SO EXCITED FOR TOMORROW.
Now I'll be getting my 5 hours of sleep, and it's back to stream monstering.

I need to go back and watch pokemon, was pretty interested in it but the salty suite got in the way, I watched some after each match and felt bad for them, because, well the hype was echoing all throughout the place, the commentators would sometimes lose focus because of it
