m2k and ally started super aggro but ended up going all campy in brawl because that's just how the game evolved

as soon as smash 4 dropped, those players were finally allowed to go aggro again, since you can actually win that way in the new game

obviously not the case with some other top brawl players, like dabuz, who went straight into smash 4 as campy as ever

Or maybe mindless rushdown isn't as good as you think, and smarter players are winning by holding back

Collusion would mean one of them intentionally planning to throw the match to benefit from the pot later. Goofing off or being less serious because you're playing someone you always play is not collusion. M2K was also influenced by the crowd's chants causing him to laugh in the first two games.
