All cameras on iphones are fixed, not zooms. The 13mm tele was a 77mm (35mm eq) which is short-ish for a tele.

Periscope lenses allow much longer telephotos, samsung is delivering a 180mm which is massive, and they have true optical zoom instead of digital zoom/sensor trickery.

Same here except I am more interested in the Pro lineup now that the size is the same as the base iPhone. Interesting no Pro Max was announced.

Maybe it’s setting or particular app thing but that portion of the screen gets cut off entirely when I’m watching something full screen. Essentially it’s just a thicker bezel. Which, cool if they eliminate it, I don’t think it’s the ideal, but it also never bothers me at all. It’s in a part of the screen between the battery icon and clock which never sees any real use
