Guys, I'm trying to send an .mp4 video to someone so they can see it on their iPad but its not playing for them. I only have Sony Vegas Pro 9 to do video conversion. Any help here? Not sure which profile to select

So, today I made two separate purchases on my iPad 2 for some apps, which I have my apple store account linked to my paypal (which only has my credit card). The first one I got the email/transaction complete instantly. But the second one I still haven't received any email, nor is the transaction showing up in my paypal transaction history. Though apple shows the purchase as going through and I was able to download the app.
Should I be worried something went wrong? How does apple handle a payment that wasn't received? Something wrong with paypal? Slightly freaking out over it at the moment, all over two freaking dollars.
Has anybody else experienced this? Or am I just being overly paranoid?

Loving the snappier feel of the iPad 2, doesn't seem like much of an upgrade but I didn't expect it to be, honestly. It fixes the small web browsing frustrations and I'm good with that! Newsguy, what sort of thing are you looking for? Couple of the bat for me would be Tune-in Radio which is a really great internet radio with awesome features, location searching is fun and it also has an alarm clock and recording function. If you're looking to use it as a portfolio of any sort, I use Foliobookand its really great. Don't know if it came out on droid, but game dev story will likely destroy a few days for you...

Yep, I did the same. Got a first gen iPad for 300 bucks two months ago and I'll get the next iPad day or week one (whenever it's possible).TylerD said:

(b) I wouldn't be surprised that they do look into that stuff constantly, but the bottom line is that it's just technologically really, really hard to do that sort of blocking on a reliable basis. I'm guessing most of the stuff like this that pops up is defensive patent work.

I recall when the iPad 2 was launched with the cameras, I assumed that finally they'd put out a native app.. not so. Sad, cause I use it quite a bit and it bugs me how it looks like absolute shit.

in the fierce race for annotation app of choice, iAnnotate just updated with a major update that includes photo annotation, quick(er) shortcuts and, most importantly, the ability to add new blank pages between slides. I can finally draw diagrams properly. Looks like it's back to iAnnotate for me. Later, GoodReader.

Already invested in android with a g2x, but loved the app world and quickness of the iPad. Read the Op there and was excited about unlimited marvel comics on the iPad for 50/year. Bought the sub and went to target immediately to buy an iPad. Get the pad and realize it's web based only reading, and flash at that. Glad I'm finally here though! Posting from my iPad now.

Its cheaper for them to get an authorization and then run 50 transactions at once in a batch. Don't worry - you'll still get charged for it

I read that speculation relates to 'alpine' being something to do with the first jailbreak for ipad 1 and that the PDF probably indicates a PDF exploit.

Well I was going to get a Timbuk2 sleeve, but It looks like they ran out of the black and red I wanted... They only have 2 sleeves and both have ugly colors, bah.

iPad 3 will likely be March/April 2012. My guess is it'll use a 1.6GHz dual core, upgrading from the 1GHz dual core of the iPad 2, and not a quad core, plus upgrade the cameras. I'm almost certain they're holding off until iPad 4 to upgrade the screen resolution because that kind of screen is still really expensive for the next year or so. I assume they'll go to quadcore with iPad 4 since that's when they'll need the extra power to handle the doubled resolution.

I am surprised you don't think the iPad 3 will get Retina display. Most of the rumors I have read seem to regard it as an almost certain feature. If it comes that late in 2012 without quadcore and Retina display I can't really see what the selling point to excite people will be.
