I got 'tiny wings' for about 79 cents and it says on the page it's compatible with ipad/ipod touch/iphone
however in my itunes it's under 'iphone and ipod touch apps'
does this mean it's not going to work? (still waiting on ipad delivery) If i screwed up, do I have any option here to get it changed?

What you want may vary with how you intend to use it but I like Bookman (very good at organizing, allows FTP/Dropbox/other, and opens up things in other apps if you want) and Stanza (sometimes Bookman doesn't like the cbr/cbz for some reason, good reading app, syncs wirelessly with Calibre). My biggest issue with Bookman for comics is that it doesn't do 'infinite re-sizing' like a lot of other apps, which every now and then annoys me, but since a manga page should fit entirely onto the iPad screen (unlike comics, which are larger than an iPad) you shouldn't have the issue.Fox318 said:Are their any good manga apps for the ipad?
No. Well, yes but only if you link his phone to your account.catfish said::/
Well the game seems fun and it was 79cents I guess...
hey what about this. My flatmate has an iphone, can I just... give it to him? How does that work? If I plug in his iphone here will it allow me to load it?
Wifi ones should be identical, ATT 3G models should work, but Verizon 3G models won't on the cellular networks there, but it should work otherwise.koene said:This has probably been asked before, but I don't feel like going through 40 pages.
Has anyone in Europe bought an Ipad 2 in America? If so, are there any issues when using it in Europe. I remember reading something like the Appstore not working correctly... Are there differences between the 3G and WIFI model?
Thx.
Adobe Ideas is a good one. I use Note Taker HD but the UI is pretty clunky, UPAD seems pretty nice (there's a free version), a lot of others like Notes Plus.Echoes said:What's the best notes-taking app? (I wanna scribble with my fingers, for learning Japanese)

This was from the car park of Meadowhall in Sheffield. Where the queue goes in on the far right it entered a fire escape tunnel with another 100 inside.
I got a white 16gb wifi with green smart cover.
That's old obsolete info. I can vaguely recall linking to it last year in May... anywayKnight77 said:Just to know if I get it right...
...so to trick the iPad and let it see an external HD / Flash USB Key and maybe read a movie from it I should do all is described here -> http://time-more.com/ipad
Just to understand. And by the way you confirm that there's no way to read NTFS Format so even if the procedure up there works I cannot use with the USB peripheral files bigger than 4GB (fat 32 limit), right?

What's your preference - portrait or landscape for day to day tasks?
I much prefer portrait myself - it's like a book/page.
The page has less width so they have to be resized. Smaller font sizes will look more blurry because they're anti-aliased on a low DPI screen. I'm so spoiled by the retina display.hyp said:portrait, although it does something weird with my web fonts. they seem more jaggy for some reason.
Using this background to match my case I just bought from timbuk2 ... Thanks manVinterbird said:I'll add mine as well:

After they kept talking about it on John Gruber's show, I was about to buy it. But I realized I'm fine with just a sleeve and my current MacBook Pro bag.Tobor said:I'm thinking about buying a Ristretto bag for iPad from Tom Bihn. Anyone have one? The reviews I found are all glowing.

I had heard about it before, but Gruber and Benjamin put it back in my mind. My Timbuk2 bag is too big for my everyday needs.numble said:After they kept talking about it on John Gruber's show, I was about to buy it. But I realized I'm fine with just a sleeve and my current MacBook Pro bag.
Depends on what you want to get out of it. I use it to watch the 4 or 5 network shows I like, and that's worth the $8 to me. I look at it this way, I subscribe to Hulu + and Netflix, and get all the content I need to replace cable for $16. Thats a good value IMO.Topher said:Does anyone suggest Hulu + ?
Sounds good enough for me.Tobor said:Depends on what you want to get out of it. I use it to watch the 4 or 5 network shows I like, and that's worth the $8 to me. You get access to multiple devices with one subscription, yes. No AirPlay, unfortunately. I use my PS3 for big screen Huluing.taylor910 said:Can you view hulu+ on multiple devices with one sub? Can you use AirPlay?
