I've been on T-mo for about 2 years and with thier un-carrier movement, I've been able to get 5 phones (including the 6S I'm getting) and still paying less than what I was paying with AT&T.

I really don't know how T-Mobile is staying strong with buying people out thier carrier contracts, offering multiple phone upgrades with Jump!, and out doing its competitors with great iPhone deals, while improving thier network?

At first my T-mo coverage wasn't as good at AT&T, but thier expansion has been strong and with thier 12 band roll out being in my area and this years iPhone being compatible, this might be the year to jump to T-Mobile.

Yea hopefully you're right.

I want it to be 100% smooth. That's one of the biggest iphone selling points for me.

The + or normal 6? On macrumors there are people saying the + is performing worse. Maybe the S+ will be more capable though.

Oh yeah, they're buying out Verizon device payments too right? Then I might not even have to pay off my current phone. Any idea how their coverage works in SF and Texas? They're coverage map looks pretty good but I always hear how it's spotty outside of major cities.

Just normal 6. Maybe the + is having issues driving the larger display.

Yea, people really sleep on the S upgrades cause they aren't "physically" different. I say let them sleep though cause I love the S cycle, been on it since the 4S. You get the better internals, the new features and fixes from the whole number release problems.

The + has lagged from day 1 regardless of OS. it's underpowered for the amount of pixels it has to push or because of the weird internal downscale it does down to 1080p

I'm hoping between the new SOC and the extra RAM it fixes it on the S but if you're super frame sensitive you're better off with the normal 6.

Yup lag and crashing (reloading) of apps on the 6+ has been there from day 1. It's a horrible phone and I'll be glad to be rid of it once my 6s+ gets here.

Whats the return / exchange policy at Apple Stores when buying iPhones? I'm gonna get a 6S+ but in the event the size is too big for daily use I'd like to exchange it for a 6S instead. Am I able to do that?

:lol don't say that.

Any small framedrop is very noticeable to me. Lag and stuttering is really annoying. I'm getting the + and hopefully the upgraded internals fix the issues.

Where can I find more details on the upgrade program? Am I basically getting a new phone + applecare for $425 if I trade in my current phone and purchase an iphone 7 in 12 months? I'm on the t-mobile $30 a month prepaid plan (5GB data, unlimited text, 100 minutes talk), can I keep that plan with the upgrade program?

Finally got both my phones sorted out. Neither phone is showing the $100 upgrade fee going from 16GB to 64GB. Last night the rep mentioned that it would be waived and I would receive a larger credit to show the $19/mo fee. I also show free overnight shipping when originally I was told $7 for ground shipping. I'm not 100% sure how this will pan out as there is tremendous amount of misinformation, but if the $100 upgrade fee is waived this will make it a hell of a deal!

Four phone calls to/from T-Mobile later and I finally have my 6S+ order sorted out, e-sign document and everything. I feel bad for the reps, they all sound totally emotionally drained, that kind of drained where they've been screamed at all weekend to the point of numbness.

3D Touch seems like their widget solution. Tbh I would rather have more apps display info directly through the icon, like the built-in clock.

There was a mockup of 'iOS widgets' a while ago that I liked. You could just have app icons scale to the existing icon keep things uniform, and they'd display live data on those. like Windows phone live tiles.

Man, I just saw they have a saddle brown leather case now. Looks really nice. Since I'm most likely doing Apple's financing I might just go naked since it comes with the Apple care.

It's sort of hidden, not one of the options on the regular checkout page for iPhone. It's a completely separate link in their store somewhere.

The monthly payments didn't show up for you? The site I linked to is the Apple update plan not the regular reservation page. AT&T phones are available through the upgrade plan.

You more than likely reserved it on their regular page, the one I linked to is different and it's hard to find for some odd reason. You should be able to switch it, they'l just run a credit check when you go in.

Did anyone here get some kind of confirmation email for the in-store reservations? I made 3 different reservations for 3 different Apple IDs this morning and dint get any type of email, and neither can I see the reservations anywhere else in my account. That doesn't seem normal to me...

Kinda worried about the 6S+ being laggier than it's little brother now. Seems like the 6S might be the better long term investment. This phone needs to last me two years. I could always funnel the money I save by downsizing into 128gb memory rather than 64gb... Decisions decisions.

Nono i'm fully aware it's 70% faster that the cpu in the 6+ but i'm thinking long term. We don't know how demanding iOS will be in two years time, I like to try and futureproof my purchases as much as possible. The 6S will be the faster of the two due to pushing less pixels, thats a fact. I'm just trying to decide whether it'll be that impactful in a year or so.

If you purchase a 6s(+) now it's literally as future proof as you can get. There's nothing else you can do.

Well the 6S is more futureproof than the 6S+, that's what i'm getting at. People are even complaining in this thread about the lag on their 6+.

Why would people buy this, when the iPhone 6 and 6 plus are the EXACT same thing! Other than two tiny improvements, and a 100$ higher price tag, nothing has changed with the 6s.

2 GB of RAM is a huge difference regardless of your opinion of 3D Touch (which is a big feature for a lot of people, I'm sure). I prefer the S phones. They are much more polished generally.

I'm actually not seeing how they are the exact same phones. This is how the S line has been for years, and some people prefer to be on that track. Hardware issues sorted out, faster processor to keep up with major changes from previous generation (increased resolution), double the RAM, force touch. Seems like a big internal difference to me.

6+ internal resolution is 1242x2208 downsampled to a standard 1080p to the screen. It's pushing a lot more pixels than it can display.

Is this a joke post? Other than a new processor, double RAM, higher resolution cameras, 3D touch, new finger print sensor...yeah guys exact same thing.

It's just as big of a revision as the numbered updates but in a different way. I've always preferred the s models for the reason you mentioned, it's more polished. I've had a 3gs and a 4s and they both served me very well. I skipped the 5s for android but i'm coming back now.
