FYI, to those who I signed up for iOS 7 beta back in the day, you should be good to go with iOS 8 as well. I don't remember who you were on hand though..

Okay, so, I'm going to leave this thread open for about 20-30 minutes for immediate reactions and then unlock the general WWDC thread for the rest of the conference.

Really surprised third party widgets, keyboards and UI additions. Very un-Apple of them. Bodes well for the future I think that finally willing to explore those possibilities.

OS X looks very nice, loving the design of it. I hope third party app developers will get flat new icons out ASAP to not look out of place on my dock.

iOS doesn't really bother me as i've switched to android now. Many cool features, third party keyboards FINALLY is awesome. Thats the main thing I dislike when having to use a iOS device now.

I kinda zoned out at the developer sections as I didn't understand half of it, but cool I guess!

Craig is a nut case too, all dem jokes. I wonder why Tim doesn't do much talking or showing off at these WWDCs. Steve would always be up there, sure he'll have other people on to demo but he was always up talking. Seems post Steve is all about dem jokes.

Well, no Apple TV SDK yet. But, Metal and Swift should make it pretty solid when they finally pull the trigger.

AppleTV SDK is going to be a complicated thing because it'll need to come *after* new hardware (and that new hardware is likely going to need a new gesture-based interface instead of the Apple Remote).

At this point, I'm expecting a hardware update first with fairly simple voice/gesture control and no public SDK, then a public SDK at 2015 WWDC.
