I know it doesn't make much sense, but look on the bright side FUCK OBJECTIVE C

Actually I really liked Objective C, a lot more than C++ lol. My problem with it is that only fucking Apple uses it, so this is the same god damn problem that they had before.

Just use a compiled version of Python or something and be done with it. The last thing the god damn tech world needs is another one of these "modern" languages.

Let's get that Yosemite wallpaper uploaded stat, developers.

Sweet.

Can someone explain that to me?

I think in the past there have been threads on here where people sign up to be added to existing accounts other GAFers hold on a first come, first serve basis. Not sure if this year will be the same.

That would be awesome if I can get my hands on it before most others...

Craig is definitely one of the better presenters at Apple. I still remember when he struggled hard during his first keynote presentation.

It's Swype. The special keyboard all Android users wet their pants over.

Sorry. lol

It's a pretty damn big deal. It means you can now install third party keyboards like Android. Finally.

Also, the program is only available to the first million? Wow. Come on and load the pages!!!! I CAN'T MISS THIS!

Edit: Hooray! All signed up! Cannot wait.

"Thanks for signing up for the OS X Beta Program.
We will email you when OS X Yosemite Beta
is available for download."

Now I guess we play the waiting game.

Eh, I am all for new languages.

Swift's playgrounds and the inclusion of a REPL seem like a great addition.

As much as people say they cringe at the jokes, his "HairForceOne" screen name joke during the GameCenter presentation a few WWDCs ago was the turning point for him. He's gotten better ever since.

I got in to my developer page. I have Yosemite downloading but when I tried to click on my iOS beta it went back to maintenance.

Yeah, the Preview page is not working yet. It'll be up shortly I assume. I have to work for three hours so.... ta ta everyone! This was so awesome and totally worth waking up early for.

So hyped!

I didn't cringe at all. He was fine, funny, and had a calm air about him.

He was better than the vast majority of E3 presenters will be next week.

The great thing about the addition of custom keyboards is the dev doesnt have access to everything you type like they do in Android if im not mistaken

I'm pretty excited for Yosemite and iOS 8. Looks like some great features are coming and many of the long time complaints of the OS are being addressed. iOS looks to be a bit more open and I'm totally got a dork boner to answer calls on my macbook and iPad. Shit, half the calls I miss are because I'm in the living room on my Macbook or iPad and my phone is in the bedroom charging. This is a good look.

Health seems to be a prelude for their iWatch...

Yep. I'll definitely give it a try. I wanna see if this whole stat tracking thing really does work.

Update to those iOS7 beta guys I helped out last year, if you paid me something for it you're good for iOS8 as well assuming you have not changed your device. If you want to double check you can PM.
