I used my debut appearance on the Videogamer podcast to disparage MGS2. I can sum up the main bits as such:

Big Shell is boring as shit as a location.

The bosses are shit.

The aiming controls are so, so shit.

There's an underwater swimming section with shit controls that you have to traverse multiple shitting times, the final time of which has a shitty escort just to amp up the shittiness.

The reveal about Fortune's "power" is the one bit of the story that is truly atrocious, because
how the fuck do you not notice an item the size of an old car-phone attached to your belt?

Black Christmas was the forebearer of the marketing of slashers more than the actual mechanics of what we consider slashers. Slashers were always more than just pov perspectives and exploited holidays. Giallos and more specifically Bay of Blood provided the template that slashers would carry after Halloween created a gold rush for sleazy producers. The focus on escalating gruesome deaths married with lurid sexuality and whodunits(particularly for the first wave) are all more provocative footprints than what Black Christmas contributed.

FF XV is one of the worst games I played recently. I stopped after 6 or so hours. Atrocious combat, Raw tier characters and writing, abysmal side quests.

I honestly dont know how it was somewhat well reviewed and received.

I've grown to hate the DMC fanbase on this site. Got a bunch of shit just for not liking DMC3 enough, with claims that I must be horrible at it.

If it happens, it happens. I already streamed at irregular times for dumb games or fun games, but the only reason I'm streaming RE4 now is because I honestly wouldn't have played it otherwise. Having people laugh at my pain and despair helps, lol

Maybe next time I stream I'll advertise in the thread.

Another game in my fave five was also released in 2005: Ninja Gaiden Black.

the GOAT action game for me, and I'm a sad panda that we'll never get an HD port/remake of it.

Yes, the DMC fanbase became extremely defensive due to DmC. I'm a big fan, 3 being my favorite, and even I was kind of shocked with the reactions.
