You can be stiff all day, look at Japan there are stiff dude all over but the difference is that they know how to be stiff on the right places unlike jinder.

The United States Championship might be my favorite looking belt in WWE (either that or the Intercontinental Title, probably). Maybe it's just because the US and IC belts don't use the same goddamn copy/paste template as the other belts.

We always been the heel it just more obvious now.

Slow burn heel turn since Nixon

I know it was done before. I don't like it. People chanting USA or getting behind someone because they are American when this is a global product made by americans doesn't work for me.

EDIT: Nationalism is only okay during the World Cup.

Yeah but in Canada the same promo would be a face promo :)

The US Title is always going to be given to foreign heels for a my country is better gimmick, it's the only way they know how to book it.

Was so happy for Zayn last night. You could tell that dude was sincerely so excited to be on Smackdown now and immediately wrestling AJ Styles.

Jinder fucking Mahal is not important enough to be left in the ring to hurt other workers. I don't understand why he isn't being punished, especially since people said he was also rough with Roman.

Why would he be punished?

I don't get it. Accidents happen. It's the nature of their job. It isn't malicious.

The only time anyone got punished was when Perry Saturn lost his shit with a jobber who hurt him, so then Perry got fucked over in return by bully JBL.

It's like when JBL beat up the blue meanie. What happened? Nothing. Or that time wrestler A injured wrestler B? Nothing happened.

Wasn't Mr. Kennedy fired pretty much for too many accidents in ring?

Nope.

He was fired about lying about drug use to the media and he embarrassed Vince over it.

Wiki edit: is angle was written because Kennedy being named one of the eleven superstars implicated in a steroid scandal and therefore suspended for thirty days in accordance with WWE's Wellness Policy

Owens is too good to do an "evil foreigner" gimmick. In fact, that whole segment and seeing people boo Canada and chant "USA" was just terrible. Terrible stuff.

I'm happy with the dudes that came to Smackdown but I hope they are better utilized. At least "neurotic" Zayn is probably over.

Rusev now deserves a chance of being a monster. Hopefully Smackdown takes advantage of him.

A lot of good can come out of this, let's see how they do. I think the tag team division is still DOA and the women's division can go either way but Tamina being there is well, not the best.

Let's wait and see I guess.

The canada stuff could be just a way to make sure he was still a heel when debuting as often, a roster debut or come back means automatic face turn.

I'm more concerned with the fact that they want him a defined heel... He's gonna have matches with Aj Styles, again, they don't need any shit like that. Let them have awesome 5 star matches and that's it.

usually, having oen guy being really heel means they will have him use shenanigans against AJ.. Which would ruin everything.

Jerry "The King" Lawler: "I’m a JBL fan. Here’s the thing about JBL; you have to know the guy. And if you don’t get an opportunity to really know JBL, you can be offended. JBL is a funny guy. He’s a big guy. He’s boisterous. He comes across as, sometimes, crude and loud. But you gotta know him. That’s just JBL. He’s the same guy on commentary as he is in catering."

Lawler added that he doesn't think JBL will lose his job:

"I don’t [think so], but hey, that’s my opinion. I don’t think he will, not over something like this."

what a surprise

Kennedy drops Orton on his recently recovered shoulder, with a back suplex, on a Monday.
Fired the next day.
The worst thing about Kennedy's situation is that he and Orton were very close. He even said it in an interview. I think it was more so Cena he went to the man in charge to complain.

At a WWF house show, they introduced a guy named Mark Henry, who is a weightlifter with Olympic aspirations. WWF is sponsoring him and brought him out to wave at the crowd. If he does well in the Olympics, don't be surprised if WWF brings him in and tries to make him a wrestler.

Thinking about how a show without the Shield guys is a breath of fresh air really puts into perspective how much they dropped the ball with them.

You had three guys extremely over and you wasted them all post breakup. All for different reasons which is even sadder.

I know they hid each others weaknesses well but they could've all done better from an entertainment perspective that what we got. Roman is the one that gets talked about bad booking but it's not like they did amazing stuff with the other two.

See, I know that type, the "If you don't know them, you might get offended." type. I've never liked that type. Some people, like Lawler can laugh along with them and never be the butt of their jokes, but it stops being funny when you're the butt of their jokes and you don't really want to get to know the guy after that.

But there was a group of guys not liking him, with Cena in the lead probably. And Vince was kinda tired of all the problems with him with the steroid scandal and many pushes cancelled by bad luck (injury after mitb, regal suspended when they had an important anti authority program starting on RAW...). At some point i guess Kennedy (and that name!) felt like some kind curse for Vince.

Also you have to realize 2 guys named Edward died before 40 after their last opponent was Kennedy! Think about that :p

And i'm forgetting the whole vince mcmahon fake death cancelled by Benoit's tragedy. Let's not forget that was also, really probably a storyline destined to push Kennedy (connected to the vince's son storyline i think if i remember well but i can be wrong)

That was like 20+ year ago , times has changed.
Their main focus was preaching family and family values. Nothing so extreme that isn't relatable today. The Nation was something that can be done now too. Only difference is there's no Farooq wrecking Ahmed on the mic. DX wouldn't obviously, but they always sucked.

I thought it was his injuries and I also believe Shawn didn't like him.

Shane Helms discussed it before.

Why he chose to echo his recent sentiments and feelings on Shawn Michaels, the reaction he has received from those within the wrestling community/his fans, and why "there will be more stories like that coming out" Shane's explanation on the comments he made Shawn Michaels: "He tried to undercut me a couple times, and this was supposedly after his 'salvation,' when he's supposed to be such a good guy. He's undercut a lot of people, Ken Kennedy being one, that he really went out his way to bury for absolutely no reason. When you're out there hurting somebody's career and hurting somebody's family, and then you go out on the stage and pray, that just rubs me wrong. I'm not getting anything out of telling the truth. I might have lost some fans just because I told the truth, but I think in the end there will be more people that will eventually, when they into a level of comfort that I'm at now, there will be more stories like that coming out."

There is that to yes and he was certainly not good at making friend backstage.

Hardcore Holly wanted to kill him cause he accused him of telling wee he had drugs in his bags. That got him fired.

Also Kennedy kinda teased the idea that his big injury against Batista was on purpose, Batista throwing him way too far outside the ring or something.
