Kind shocked there is one to begin with. No reason to mark for someone who can't defeat his other half at Mania.

But he won, didn't he? Kane won't beat Orton ever again. They only let him have Mania because he couldn't beat Taker at Mania ever. They didn't want his better half to outshine him, causing him to go into depression because of his losses.
You really have no idea what you're fucking with right now!

The face was hilarious. Anyone screen cap it?

So, match of the night... Sheamus/Bryan? It was really good, they put on a hell of a match. Anyone agree, or are people still rubbing down the admittedly awesome Punk/Jericho match?

Bobo, do you think Xtreme Rulez will do more buys than UFC: Jones vs Evans did?

Jones vs Rashad will probably end up with 700,000-800,000 buys while Extreme Rules will end up at 150,000-175,000 maximum. Now they've ruined Brock as a draw because he lost his fucking first match back. How are they this fucking stupid?????????????

Punk/Jericho was dull in the context of a street match, and the incredibly lame storyline didn't help any. DBry and Sheamus at least had awesome crowd interaction.

It was the match of the night, made Bryan in the main event for sure. It was more of a Bryan Danielson match than we've ever seen in WWE.

I dunno, Meltzer called it right when Brock came back:

Is he worth that kind of money? To justify it, he has to draw big on PPV, sell merchandise, or single handedly make wrestling cool again so, like happened with him and UFC, that he was able to elevate the entire industry. All of that seems possible this week, but none is certain.

If it doesn’t happen, frustration will set it on Vince’s side, as has happened in the past, feeling he got talked into a bad business deal. And the fact is, the more creative the writing, the greater the chance they have of screwing it up with the writing.

I'm shocked it only took 3 weeks, though.

So who were the people who doubted me when I said Cena was going to beat Lesnar?

I never doubt any potential finish on a PPV no matter how obvious it may or may not seem. Vince loves to swerve us. I'd have preferred the Bryan swerve, but that loss didn't diminish Bryan at all, so I can live with that, but this swerve doesn't really do much harm... since it looks like the story line is going to be that Brock put Cena out.

'We're tired of Cena's crap'.

job done. right?

not once in that promo did Brock say he was going to win the match. he said he was an ass kicker. he said he was going to bring utter chaos. he said he was going to bring the pain to Cena.

diving face first into a fist wrapped up with chain, and then being dropped onto the steel steps doesn't make you look weak. yeah, Cena only got off like two moves and they got him the win but now he gets to storyline recover from the beating.

the next match, with Cena coming back and telling Brock to stop bragging about putting him out because Cena beat him can make that match about who wins and who loses.

I can't enjoy good matches if they have shit finishes, it retroactively makes the entire match shit.

But you were enjoying it up to that point, right? That means you enjoyed everything about it except the finish. I agree, however, that it sours my opinion about the entire match itself.

So where are the rumors of HHH vs Lesnar coming from?

A small group of Kane marks that doesn't know the difference between a good brother (Taker) and one who has nothing going for him (Cain).

Kane beat Undertaker three straight times in one feud, and buried him. Kane is now the dominate brother.

you've lost me. Brock was money tonight. people are going to tune in to see who he stiffs with a real MMA strike next... not to see who the writers decide to go over.

I'm happy about Cody winning, but I was hoping the whole point of him losing the IC title was because he had a great run with it and they were going to push him into the main event. Jericho and Brock aren't going to be around forever, Vince. You have to have some new guys consistently in the upper card.

But Taker destroyed him at Mania, not once but twice. That's all that matters, right?

Nobody can explain to me that the result doesn't hurt Brock MUCH more then it helps Cena, especially if Cena is gone for a while. They just cut the balls off their monster in his first match

Well I knew they fucked it up when he was out there doing that stupid contract shit on Raw. It was going so well before that. Now HHH is coming back to insert his boring ass into a Brock program. Who the fuck cares?

Brock wants to cause chaos and kill fools. Winning is ancillary, and as long as they put over him putting Cena on the shelf they have set Brock up to kill in the next few months.

Seriously, this. All the arm work at the start, leading up to Bryan submitting Sheamus, was very reminiscent of the American Dragon. I still think the first fall was incredibly dumb though.

Punk vs Jericho was good, but sloppy.

The main event was a lot of fun, but seriously fuck that ending - they could have at least redeemed themselves if Brock snapped and destroyed Cena after the match, but instead Cena does his best to brush off the beating he just took and then gives us a typical Cena promo to close the show. Lame.

This company is full of shit, but everyone should have known he was going to win when Brock set his demands.
And that is exactly why Brock should have won. With the original NWO angle everyone thought Sting, Savage and Luger were going to beat the outsiders to show that WCW really was greater than WWF. Hall and Nash may have been big at WWF but they were inferior to the WCW roster. Instead they won the match, turned Hogan heel, and absolutely shat all over the WCW roster creating the greatest angle in the history of wrestling. Brock should have won, destroyed the entire roster and Cena should have returned with a different outlook and attitude ala Sting and saved WWE from the monster Brock Lesnar(still cant believe Bischoff let Hogan fuck this up). This would have elevated Cena to the fucking pantheon of wrestling. Instead they completely fucked it up in the first damn match. Lesnar could have drawn the hardcore audience with this kind of angle, but Vince has too much pride. Brock was UFC, so therefore Brock must lose. Absolute fucking ignorant on so many levels.

I think that will be a good draw to get people back into wrestling again that used to watch it, then ended up watching MMA. Kinda casual types, yknow.

Only when discussing Kane and Orton, not when discussing other feuds.

Oh. Didn't know we can nitpick. Guess that's what happens when you're dealing with Kane marks and a wrestler that has nothing going for him. PEACE. MARKS.

Yeah but this day and age the company has no idea wtf it's doing. I'm not spending a dime on this company anymore unless they turn it around 100%, but that's probably not going to happen once they crash and burn in a few months with WWE TV.

Think again, friend.

I will say though, I have a newfound respect for Wrassle-GAFs ability to stomach absolutely horrible Sports Entertainment on a weekly basis.
