Bobby Lashley's next MMA fight has been announced.

Former TNA World champion Bobby Lashley will reportedly have his next Bellator MMA fight on June 19.

According to the Denver Post, Lashley will fight James Thompson at the Bellator 138 card in St. Louis.

The event will air on Spike TV against TNA Impact on Destination America on a Friday night, capturing the interesting situation with Lashley still tied to Impact's former home on Spike.

Bellator 138 is headlined by the "attraction" fight of Ken Shamrock vs. Kimbo Slice. For Lashley, this will be a re-match from his second career loss when he lost to Thompson in May 2012.

Lashley (12-2) has not fought since October 2014 when he beat Karl Etherington at Bellator 130. Lashley was scheduled to fight earlier this year, but an injury pushed back his first fight of 2015.

Probably because Big Show is old, out of shape, changes alignment every few months, and has been booked to look like a comedy goober for large portions of his career while also being played up as a credible threat to everybody, while Randy Orton, while overexposed, is one of WWE's best all-around performers when he's both motivated and given good material - two circumstances that rarely align, unfortunately, but when you see stuff like the work he was doing before he got written off TV, it's hard to argue the man's giftedness. And, if nothing else, he's someone who has pretty solid WWE-style matches with just about every performer he works with and is capable of greatness when he has a Daniel Bryan or Seth Rollins-level player to work off of.
