I dare any of you to come up with a stupider lyric.

Difficulty: IT must be one line, not a whole paragraph of shit.

There is so many faults with the above lyric. What a shit question.

EDIT: It's the single from the newest album by the Killers for any blessed individuals that have no idea what I'm talking about.

"Coast to coast, L.A. to Chicago"

To his credit, I have never had a bear claw, but the name fascinates me and would be very interested in sampling one.

he should probably change the line to 'foreign people wonder what the deal is with me, like a bear claw' though.

Patty cake, patty cake, microwave
These suckas make a square, damn I'm paid (ha ha)
I'm so cool, but I'm so hot, and I'm, I'm so fly, and you, you're so not (nope)
Show me what you're workin' wit just like that (like that)

Young Jeezy ft. Mannie Fresh - And Then What

wack rappers are wack

When the sun shines, we’ll shine together
Told you I'll be here forever
Said I'll always be a friend
Took an oath I'ma stick it out till the end
Now that it's raining more than ever
Know that we'll still have each other
You can stand under my umbrella
You can stand under my umbrella
(Ella ella eh eh eh)
Under my umbrella
(Ella ella eh eh eh)
Under my umbrella
(Ella ella eh eh eh)
Under my umbrella
(Ella ella eh eh eh eh eh eh)

Google'd the lyric to see what's up. Apparently this lyric was contended enough that it made it into the Wiki :lol

Lyrical confusion

There has been considerable confusion and debate over the line "Are we human or are we dancer?" in the song's chorus.[6] Debate raged across the internet over whether the lyrics said "denser" or "dancer", a misunderstanding which invoked conflicting interpretations of the song's meaning.[7][8] Entertainment Weekly's Pop Watch section called this line the "silliest lyrics of the week".[7] They were puzzled by the interpretation, stating "most dancers are generally human".[7] Ganz with Rolling Stone called the line "classic Killers' nonsense."[4]

On the band's official website, the biography section states that Flowers is singing "Are we human, or are we dancer?" and also says that the lyrics were inspired by a disparaging comment made by Hunter S. Thompson.[9] In an interview with Rolling Stone, Flowers said that he was irritated over the confusion about the lyric and also that fans were unhappy with the song's dance beat: "It's supposed to be a dance song, [the beat] goes with the chorus...If you can't put that together, you're an idiot. I just don't get why there's a confusion about it."[10]

The Killers have taken a huge turn for the worse. Their latest album is trash. I love the singer's statement when questioned about the song though.

"It's supposed to be a dance song, [the beat] goes with the chorus...If you can't put that together, you're an idiot."

:lol

I've been hating on this song since it's release, but Out of the Game renewed my hatred.

Is that timberlake dancing?

BTW op we are dancers having a vivid experience of never ending moments in the sea of chaos, order and reality. Bill hicks said it best "Life is like a roller coaster ride".

catfish, are you Koei on another Dutch gaming forum by any chance? I've seen this topic before. :lol

Wow, I never realized there was some kind of backlash over the new album. Here I've been loving Day and Age and thought it was their best album so far, by a wide margin. Even considered it a turning point for the band where they moved into heavier musical territory and got experimental within their trademark style :lol :lol :lol

As did 'My humps'. You could submit a number of lines from that song to this thread as well.

I wonder if anybody who thinks that's a stupid lyric took the time to think about the meaning.

Now that I think about it... yes, I find the philophical meaning behind the song. It's soo.... deep, and touching. Oh my god I think I'm gonna cry.

Owh no wait, that another song. This song is bullshit mixed with a 12yr-old's poetrybook.

And yet, it's all okay just so I could have Alanis's cover of it.

uhh ok?

I mix your milk wit my cocoa puff,
Milky, milky cocoa,
Mix your milk with my cocoa puff, milky, milky riiiiiiight.

I agree - the lyrics are shit and the music is shit. Such a stupid decision to use:
"And I'm on my knees looking for the answer. Are we human, or are we dancer"

When they really have to squeeze that "the" in there. They should have used:

"And I'm on my knees looking for answers. Are we human, or are we dancers"

It's almost like they decided to write the stupidest song they could.
