Most likely. I really enjoyed the last couple of games, and I’m a sucker for the "take over these locations/forts" gameplay loop. I think this game will deliver that same badass feeling that Assassin’s Creed is known for.
Plus, the changing seasons look absolutely stunning

I have played literally every Assassin's Creed game on day 1 since the first.
Only thing I haven't decided is if I'll get it on the XSX, where I played every other AC and I'll be able to stream the game while I'm travelling this summer, or on the Pro for the better performance.
I'll decide that in the next day or so.

You know, what I have been doing lately with their latest releases is to buy a month of Ubipass for 15 euros. That's another option that I forgot to add to the voting questions

Yes but like with most ubisoft games, when it's mutch cheaper. They go on sale very fast anyway.

I haven't enjoyed an Ass-creed game since Unity and even that was only because the parkour looked good. Hard pass.

1. I dislike Ubisoft.
2. I stopped liking assassin creed a long time ago. Those games are all the same with only a few tweaks.
3. They did the fans dirty.
4. They did Japan really dirty.
I think I rather play Roblox than the new assassin creed.

Then you've missed out on two of the best ACs (Origins and Mirage).

No. Not because of anything specific to Shadows, but because I haven't bought an AC game since 3 was so piss-poor that it put me off the entire series forever.
Also because of Ubisoft and their Ubisoft ways. They've reduced full launcher requirements to log in requirements, and I don't know if that part is optional.

No. Last one I played was Origins, still haven't played the ones after that so won't be buying this one
Odyssey and Valhalla were massive bloat fests that could take up to 160 hours to 100%. Everyone complained about that. So with Mirage (which started as a Valhalla DLC expansion) it was much shorter and focused and without the bloat. It was the best AC since Origins.
Shadows is closer to Origins than the bloat fests.

Yes if it's less bloated than Valhalla, but I won't be getting to it straight away so buy on sale it is.

Factually false. The gameplay changed dramatically with Origins and hasn't been similar to the pre-Origins games since.

$9.99 is magic number, and that's for game+all DLCs.
Buying Ubisoft day 1 is a bad decision.
Even if the game didn't have the problems it has now, I still wouldn't buy it. I stopped buying games of this series a long time ago (Assassin's Creed Origins was the last one), I've long since burned out on the Ubisoft formula, all their games are the same thing, just with a slightly different design.

"Upscaled 4k targeting 60fps" means literally nothing.

No. But not just because of the theme and obvious wokeness. Valhalla was a HUGE slog and I only see more of the same here. Not going through that again.
