Are you interested in buying a $399 Xbox One without Kinect?

Nope. I got a 360 back in December used for 100$ because I wanted to play Ninja Gaiden 2 and Ninja Gaiden Black - outside of that I've never touched it.

Nothing the XBONE has currently or in the future interests me at all.

Not saying it's a bad product (although it was one of the worst conceived product launches in history, right up there with FIVE HUNDRED NINETY NINE DOLLARS) but MS game offerings have always been not great in my eyes.

Except OG Ninja Gaiden. That shit is the bomb yo! (Just like Affleck in Phantoms!)

Maybe. Depends on the exclusives. If I bought it today I would only get Dead Rising 3 and Killer Instinct. I do have a 10 percent off coupon from Best Buy that would make it $360.

Nope.

I'm possibly interested in buying one a few years from now as my third system of this generation off somebody on Craigslist, then playing a few of its top games on the cheap via whatever their "Greatest Hits" line turns out to be.

That was true yesterday as well.

It seems like if someone was in the market for an Xbox One they would have been better served buying one of the $450 titanfall bundles that also came with Forza and the kinect. A much better value than $399 for no games and no kinect.

It's never been about Kinect for me, it's always been about the price and exclusives. Any progress on those fronts are good.

No, I could get a Xbox One with Kinect and Titanfall for about £330 a few weeks ago, why would I pay £20 more for an Xbox One without Kinect and no games?

£250 for a brand new Xbox One of any sort before the end of the year and I'll bite, anything else no thank you.

No. I owned all three console last gen and won't do it again. PS4 is the better platform for third-party games and I am not interested in the MS exclusives.

More interested than I was? Maybe. But that E3 conference rundown (that seems like a real leak now) doesn't inspire my confidence in their upcoming game library. Looks like more of the same franchises I got bored of on the 360.

If I get a new console, it'll be a PS4.

I'm interested in a 299€ X1 without Kinect. So, I'll wait and see if the library becomes any good to me.

Personally I'm waiting for a real price drop at the least. When I can get one for about $350 with Kinect and it has exclusives I want, I'm in. Not until that time though.

I think they will look at the sales of this $400 Kinectless Xbox, not be very happy with it, and by the holidays there will be an official drop. At least I'm hoping.

Not the biggest fan of Microsoft exclusives, but I'm enticed by Killer Instinct and Sunset Overdrive. I'm waiting for E3 to give me more to consider. Otherwise, I'll wait til next year.

You could buy easily an Bone for the new price.
At least where I live (Germany).
The problem is that the only game I'm interested is Killer Instinct.
I'm for the next 2 years on my PC, Vita and use my last gen consoles for exklusives.

I doubt that i'll ever buy an xbox one after their E3 press conference last year. I realize they got rid of most of the features people complained about, like the kinect always being on and the once a day handshake but I'm not convinced they won't just try and bring them back in some way after people buy the console.

lord jesus people act like MS killed their dog or something lol.

If by dog you mean gaming, well they didn't kill it but if they had their way they would have maimed it pretty badly...

Thankfully people haven't fed into their bullshit and it's coming back to bite them in the ass...

More so then ever. If I cared about technical superiority I wouldn't have bought the Wii U, or play any retro games. If their line up at E3 interests me, I'll consider getting one by the end of the year.

It doesn't matter how "Unique" the Kinect made Xbox One, I have no interest in it. What sells me on a game console is good games, and by the end of the year enough might pile up for the One for me to throw down $400.

For $199 after Quantum Break comes out and proves to be good - maybe. Likely to sell it off after beating QB though.

depends on the games, if they deliver some actual great fully funded japanese games then I might be interested yeah.

if they pay just enough to get devs to not release stuff on ps4 and thereby kneecap japanese development again then they can fuck right off

Nope. I'll never see myself paying for an Xbox Live subscription. Ever. And with owning PS4 and a capable PC, Xbone would be a giant paperweight for me right now.

Maybe holiday next year, if it has a decent library of exclusive digital and retail games by then.

No. The price is too high for the specs offered in the system and there are no current games that interest me. I will wait when the system is at the end of its life so that I can buy the system for under $200 and buy all of the great games at bargain bin prices.

Unless removing the Kinect suddenly gives it the power to run games as well as the PS4, then no.

It's clearly not on the same level as its competition and needed a much bigger price drop to make it worthwhile.

No, I'm happy with my PS4, don't want to pay 2 online fees and there aren't enough appealing exclusive games in XBO. Traditionally I prefered Sony exclusives btw.

I have a preorder set with Amazon so yes I am :). I do want the kinect because I anticipate at least 3-4 fun games with it in its lifetime, at the bare minimum. Unfortunately I'm also buying a new tv with this Xbox so $400 is easier to budget than $500 on top of the cost of the TV.

Nop.
Sorry, i prefer the more poweful, better non-shooter-exclusives, cheaper, GDDR5, no brick, smaller, no-drm-from-the-beginning console :)

No, and if I buy an Xbox it will be the one with Kinect, I think it's a terrible idea to split the market and remove one of the key features of the console. They should've just drop the price a little bit later.

For multi platforms I'm covered with my PS4 so I'm in no rush, specially not at $400.

I will definitely get one once a few more big exclusives come out and they lower the price again, maybe by Christmas 2015.

I'm actually more interested in buying one with Kinect, so a little bummed it wasn't a $399 with Kinect price drop.

Nah, I'm quite happy with my PS4. What got me to buy a PS4 was their big indie push. Having a dedicated system that runs games like the Witness a little better/more optimized/controlled better was really appealing to me. I don't see much in the Xbox One line up, even with the ID @ Xbox and upcoming AAA titles

The removal of the XBL paywall honestly is the biggest deal here, for me personally.

I would never, ever buy another box that has 90% of it's features locked away behind a subscription fee. Just the thought makes me angry for some reason.

They really wisened up to that ridiculous practice, so I commend them for that at least.

The games currently available and in the pipeline for XB1 do nothing for me though. Most of the exclusives aren't worth investing $399.
