Are you interested in buying a $399 Xbox One without Kinect?

I think they should keep Kinect AND make it $400. Because the PS4 is still the better value as it stands. It's not like MS can't take a hit here and there.

No chance in hell.

No... PS4 is almost the same but with better performing games. I don't care about Microsoft's exclusives, and judging from the X360, they'll drop support halfway through the system's life, besides a game here and there.

Everything he said, except I'm a little bit jealous of Titanfall.

More interested, but no. The price for the box itself will only have so much impact on my decision. If I see a game I have to check out then I'll get one assuming I have the money to spend, the lower price point only makes the whole transaction easier on the wallet.

I was in before the announcement because I want a Kinect but I like that I don't need XBL for apps and stuff so at least I got some good news still. But yes, I'm absolutely going to get one eventually (probably this year). My days of not having every console are long over. Like, since the 16bit days.

No chance in hell.

The sequel should be multiplat so there's that!

Nope not until I crimson skies 2 is announced. There are no xbone titles I'm looking forward to at the moment.

Yes. I would also like a white console, but I imagine one will come later.

Also exclusives alone makes a console unique IMO.

I'll buy the £199 white model at Xmas.

No. It could be 200 dollars and I still wouldn't buy it. There are simply no games I want on it.
This kind of reads like a Wii U thread on the first page.

On topic: I haven't seen any software to sell me on the system. I am hoping nothing does, as I would rather not have to buy another console to get a full experience this generation. I already have to buy a Vita for a handful of titles.

No. If I did somehow end up buying a kinectless SKU, I know I would just end up buying the Kinect at some point down the road anyway.

It would take a god damn Christmas miracle to make me buy one. I have no interest in buying something where most "exclusive" games on it (like Titanfall) are also on PC and at $399 it's still a lot weaker than the $399 PS4 I bought. It's a poorly designed console and the price is still way too high.

Kinda proves that price isn't the real issue for a lot of people.

Not buying either till the library justifies it, then I'll buy both. Sunset Overdrive looks like the first game I'd want to play on either console, but unless the final release truly stuns me Destiny is likely to be the first real reason I'll be investing. Xbox for Halo 5 and Halo 2 AE for sure.

Wii U first, though. More games that interest me currently and my girlfriend would love Nintendo Land.

Not really. Titanfall would have been the game to do it and the lukewarm reception on that has held me off. I loved the original Gears, but after Judgment I am not very interested in the franchise. And Halo 4 was my least favorite Halo game and I don't care to play the sequel if its made by the same studio. So basically they'd have to have some real left field shit to get me interested again.

And considering most multiplatform games will be slightly superior on PS4 I don't really think this will sway me.

I made my choice last year on the PS4/PC. Personally, I have not seen any games that I can only get on Xbox One yet that would make it worth it to me.

No. Between having a gaming PC and PS4, I can't justify dropping another 400 bucks when I barely have enough time to spend on the other two as it is.

Also, other than a possibly Halo 2 remake, I haven't really seen anything exclusive that I'm interested in.

No but I wouldnt have bought one with kinect for even 100$ just on principle.

Now? When I see one with a bundle if games stolen by some crack head in 2 years for 100_150 I might say fuck it and buy it.

Since 95% of the best games will run better on ps4 why bother now.

Yeah I'm likely to buy this at some point but will probably buy a PS4 first.

That said my interest in either of the new consoles is pretty low vs. a new PC.

I was one of those long time XB fans that was soured by the first half of 2013. Its going to take a lot more than price parity with the PS4 to bring me back. It all comes down to trust, and the only thing that can heal the wound they made is time, not a $399 SKU.

as a WiiU only gamer I was waiting at the right moment to buy a ps4( I'm not interested in any of the games right now) even though I had a 360 last gen the Xone didn't interest me because of the high price and zero interest in kinect but I do like the games they have especially Killer instinct, Titan fall and Sunset overdrive look amazing, so right now with the price cut the balance has shifted to microsof side but I'll wait till after E3 to make a decision

I'm merely an echo but I'm going with "no" for this.

At least not right now. Perhaps down the line in a few years with another price reduction and if there are games I really want to play, then perhaps I'll change my mind. For now though, I have a PS4 and for me, there really isn't any game on or announced for the Xbox One that is a system seller.

Nope. Not even Halo 2 Anniversary or Halo 5 in 1080p would get me interested. I do not want to play a part in Microsoft's garbage vision of the Xbone. Count me out.

My enticement has risen some with the drop, plus seeing more of Sunset Overdrive. However, doing math kind of countered things for me. We've seen the game bundles down to about $450 at a few retailers the last few months. If I bought this model, with a game I'm spending $460. I'd prefer the other, and I'd take a Kinect for $10 less. Still either price is hard to swallow, and waiting for more stuff at E3 to hopefully excite me more on the platform.

Nah. Even with their 180 on DRM they've lost me as a customer. Killer Instinct is hard for me to ignore, but I can wait until it's actually 100% complete until I might change my mind.

Wii U and 3DS is all I need for now.

Nope. The Titanfall Bundles were better value than the $399.99 kinectless bundle . I'll wait for a $300 Xbox One Bundle with Kinect down the road. I'm in no rush to buy an Xbox One bundle. I'll let consumer sales dictate MS, price reductions
