Are you interested in buying a $399 Xbox One without Kinect?

Nope already have a ps4 no reason to get an xbone. I would only consider a wii u as a second console, a playstation xbox combo isnt very compelling. Much rather have PlayStation and wii u combo if i had to choose.

Nope. The Titanfall Bundles were better value than the $399.99 kinectless bundle . I'll wait for a $300 Xbox One Bundle with Kinect down the road. I'm in no rush to buy an Xbox One bundle. I'll let consumer sales dictate MS, price reductions

Had a friend get that bundle with an additional for a code for 420.

No, not yet at least. We will see what they bring to E3, but it would have to be one of the biggest megatons in the past decade.

No

I don't even have enough time to play my PS4 and Wii U, it would be a waste of money to get yet another console.

Much more interested than before, but I'm still going to need some more convincing. If Sunset Overdrive is Insomniac's next Ratchet and Clank, I'll be closer still to buying one.

No.

I'll probably wait until 2015 or 2016 to get an Xbox One at $299 without Kinect. I always end up buying every console of every generation (i.e. Genesis, TurboGrafx-16, SNES, Neo Geo in the 16-bit era).

I think my next hardware purchases will be a VITA and then later a Wii U. Xbox One will probably be the last system I acquire.

Last gen I got Wii (at launch in '06) Xbox 360 (early 2009) and then PS3 (late 2010) in that order (not counting DS and PSP which I also bought).

It's still too high, no interesting exclusives. They had titanfall, but titanfall 2 won't be exclusive so I wouldn't play it on it. All they have to offer is shooters, no exclusive RPGs, then tack on lower framer ate and resolution.

Make the price $350, bring back Alan wake and maybe gears , prove that your gwg can be competitive with ps plus, snow me good sales and then we can talk about a purchase

Nope. I played the 360 almost exclusively last gen but this time around I flipped to the PS4. Haven't regretted it yet. Maybe at some point in the future I'll pick up an XB1 if there's a must-have exclusive for it but so far it looks like the PS4 is going to have the only must-have exclusive (Project Beast) that I care about.

My feelings as well. I'm much more open to it now, but the current slate of unreleased games and whatever's confirmed for exclusives at E3 will help nudge me further towards an eventual purchase. I was definitely not open to it at $500 and with Kinect. Even with a drop to $400 with Kinect in the box, I wouldn't want to pay for something I don't want.

No. Given the performance gap, the bad taste Microsoft left in my mouth and the fact that I already have a PS4, they'd basically have to give it away in order for me to get an Xbone at this point. Let's talk again in a few years, once it is considerably cheaper and there is a good amount of must-play exclusives.

For me to get an Xbone, the following conditions MUST be met:

1) Rock Band 4 comes out for Xbone
2) All my Rock Band gear from 360 works with it.
3) All my DLC will work on Xbone for no additional cost.

So, no.

Nope, not yet. I already own a PS4.

These changes are going in the right direction, though, so I don't want to diminish them. However, the only reason I would ever purchase an Xbox One would be to play exclusive titles. There's no reason I would ever play a multiplatform title on it and Microsoft has done very little to make me feel confident that they can and will support the platform with titles from internal development studios.

Playing games on PC/WiiU and eventually PS4, I'm not interested in XOne at any price. I don't have time for all those games.

Good moves for people that want it though!

If I needed something to play or were currently in the market for an XO, I'd buy one right now for $399. My schedule until August is incredibly hectic and my backlog is huge. If I bought one now it might sit in the box for months. Best to wait until BF and see what holiday bundles MS come up with.

I could be, though I have tried the own all systems thing last gen, I just ended up buying games for only one of the consoles, and buying everything that wasn't console only on PC. I didn't mess with xbox live since I didn't want to pay for gold, and I'm attached to Sony games.

I can barely finish the games I get on one platform. I'll accept one as a xmas gift though. -

Yes. This is certainly good news for me as the Kinect is just just terrible. I'm really excited now to see which exclusives both Sony and MS announce at E3. I thought for sure PS4 would be my console companion for my PC but I'm not really so sure now.

No, not at all. I don't plan on having more than one console this time and PS4 is a much better offer and I think Sony supports their consoles much better than MS.

If I ever get a second console it will be a WiiU once it gets to the ideal price-point/value.

No.

First party support is poor compared to competition.
Poor understanding of the consumer.
The 180 debacle was only last year.
The 360 never captured my attention, and I see no reason to go to the platform.

PS4 still is more powerful for the same price, and has better software support, primarily from first party and indies. Also the DS4 is vastly superior to the One's controller.

Also, the fact that this comes as a result of their failure to force the One onto the consumer with the huge marketing push with an unfinished game (Titanfall) just makes it that much worse imo.

You see this mentality I don't understand. Consoles like the PS1 were more money than the N64 yet the N64 was more powerful. The PS1 sold fine.

The PS1 was also available 2 years earlier in Japan and 1 year earlier in NA, and sold its games for ~$30-40 compared to N64's $60-80. Although the N64 had a more powerful CPU and more RAM, it was heavily restricted by the 8-64MB cartridges compared to the 700MB CD's of the PS1. It allowed for way better audio on PS1 titles as well as way larger textures that could be loaded from the disc instead of streamed through RAM or the CPU/GPU. The PS1 was much more efficient and balanced than the N64, and the price difference wasn't massive. I think by the time the N64 was available they were pretty even in terms of cost.

The X1 will always be an end of the gen purchase for me. I don't play games as much as I use to and I'm sure as hell not gonna pay for two services (PSN/LIVE). I can hold off on an X1 for 6 years if need be.

I will when there's stuff I want to play, it's not really about cost. Sunset overdrive looks good so that's a start.

I'm already rocking a PC, PS4 & WiiU though so no real rush, I can wait a year or two ;)

Maybe, where are the games ?

One game (Quantum Break) isn't enough to push me over the fence (it'll come out on PC eventually just like Alan Wake).

Yes, I WILL buy one without Kinect.

Something like this would be nice to see:

$350 - X1 console, no kinect, 500GB hdd
$400 - X1 console, no kinect, 1 TB hdd
$450 - X1 console, w/ kinect, 1 TB hdd

I'd buy the $400 one once there's a big game I desperately want and won't be able to wait for (new sleeping dogs, new red dead, new alan wake, gta v x1 edition)

Yes. With Halo 2 Anniversary and Halo 5 soon. Yep. Sony hasn't won me over with their exclusives. I wish the Xbone had more horsepower, but I can deal. My PC is better than both new systems anyways so I'll still get my graphics whore fix.

Like many have said, no.

No Kinect is a step in the right direction, but 400$ for a secondary console is still too much.

maybe once it hits $100...

There were simply just 1-2 games I wanted on 360 as most were multi platform and I dislike shooters. I don't see the X1 being that much different later down the road. That being said, if something miraculous happens I may change my mind, but I highly doubt that will be the case.

Yes, not now but eventually. I like to wait for the games to come in so I don't get the launch drought.

Though I'm currently more interested in more x1 exclusives than ps4 exclusives At the moment.

Not at price parity with ps4 that i already own. MS have to show at least a couple of must have esclusives first.

They won't seriously eat into PS4 sales until they price themselves at $299, $100 less. The fact that they removed Kinect to accomplish this price cut just signals to me MS will not lose money to save Xbox.

More interested, I guess, but not interested enough to actually do it. Too much game overlap with the PS4 (which gets all the best multiplats), and the latter is all but guaranteed to get more exclusives that appeal to me.

Nope. There will be so few great exclusives this generation that I'll just borrow an xbox one/ps4 near the end of the gen to play those 3-4 games I really want to play that never made it to PC. Ended up selling my ps3/360 after a couple years, borrowed a 360 for Red Dead Redemption a little while back, no regrets.

Consoles are too expensive for the walled garden experience they offer. I'd rather put that money into my PC where I don't have to pay a multiplayer tax.

If I eventually get one, I'll most likely get the kinect-less SKU. But I don't play console games often enough to warrant two similar consoles with paid MP and I generally prefer Sony's games/ecosystem.

Honestly, is the same price as a more powerful competitor.

Why would I buy one?

Exclusives? Definitely, but we'll see what Microsoft can bring as exclusives during e3.

But they'll need significantly better exclusives than Sony for me to budge.

Plus, Microsoft has now bailed out on so many aspects of their vision for the Xbox One. What's stopping them from bailing out on the entire console now if things don't go the way big corporate wants?

From "never" to "maybe later when the right exclusives hit (which I think is doubtful unless they can score some exclusive RPGs)"

I'd rather have the kinect included as it seemed interesting to me. I'm still holding out on both the One/PS4 until I work through the 3DS/Vita/Wii U games I still have or an awesome deal comes along.
