It's not outdated, it is just a simple measure that can observe general trends. Not everyone in the world can get a dexa scan.6'1, 205 lbs @ 11% bf
in the middle of a cut down to 9% or so, which is where i will stop.. i should be 195 to 200, depending on how much water i'm holding
with a 6 pack i am considered obese going strictly by BMI. it's extremely outdated
What am I looking at
Dont worry you can always count on something to motivate youI'm fat as fuck cause I got lazy and depression and not motivated to work out.

Whenever I lose 25+ lbs I gain it back in 6 months. I'm thinking of starting Keto again but it's expensive and they tell me why bother if you're going to gain it back soon?
Name a fat guy that lived past 50.

Well, i guess you still have hope thenHave you ever been outside? Obesity is an age-related disease. Tons of old people are obese. Alive, just not healthy.
As much meat and cheese as I want? Um, fuck yes?
That's not how it works. Calories in, calories out.
I mean you can just look in a mirror. None of that helps if you want to compare obesity rates of the US versus India or Mexico or whatever, which is what the BMI is designed for. Anyone who diets and exercises knows that there BMI is not an accurate measure personally for them.a $50 - $100 scale from your online retailer of choice can measure subcutaneous as well as visceral bodyfat and is pretty accurate, and is much more useful than BMI for someone who works out and diets
45 pounds in a month wtf are you waking about? There's no magic garbage food that will make you gain that much. Overeating like a motherfucker will. I physically couldn't do that even if you paid me a million bucks.Man in one month I basically gained 45 pounds despite my semi-regular exercising, high water drinkage, and the fact I didn't eat much at all. Those chemicals will get you no matter what.

Yes it does, especially if the chemicals in some food react with the chemicals in the other. Double so if there's salt. You can actually lose 10 pounds of that wait in a really short time if you drink a lot of water and chill one eating for that reason.
Obese people who don't have tons of money to buy less tainted food (and enough of it to fill themselves) will have a decent chance of losing wait, maybe even quickly based on their diet and exercise. Obese people that aren't wealthy (which is most of them) are going to have a real hard time losing weight due to how bad the food is.
Best to try and maintain weight when you get close to obese then move downward gradually. A little Overweight isn't too much of an issue if you curb what causes the increases. I've seen many people get several health issues and one die due to not being able to recover once they get into obesity,

At the moment, I am a bit overweight. I blame Uber Eats. Too damn convenient and makes me lazier than ever.
Everything is a chemical, though. No matter what you eat, you're eating chemicals. Gaining more than a pound a day is beyond being bloated from water retention.
The only reasonable thing to do. But considering we are talking high weights being raised on non-SI units should be acknowledged as a deficit: Multiply the kg number by two to get a pretty good estimate of the weight in joke units. When people answer in kilograms:

This is a pretty disingenuous statement.
Lmao at gaining 45 pounds in a month while claiming to not be eating that much and blaming it on chemicals with some long-winded post.Yes it does, especially if the chemicals in some food react with the chemicals in the other. It's easy to shot down facts when you think you know it all, yet won't take 5 seconds to research that you're wrong. One of the biggest issues, people will debate claims they themselves do not know is true or not, and won't bother to look it up first.
It's seems odd that something well known (chemicals and other insertions in food and drink causing weight gains and increases in diseases) is something you are actively shooting down.
@Ornlu also yes it's disingenuous, you are basically acting confused about an issue everyone knows about, if you talk to anyone about the state of food and drink these days (especially in America but also in some other places) and speak of "Chemicals" everyone knows what you're referring to. Saying that "there are chemicals in all the foods" is e literally the definition of disingenuous or ignorance at best.
If what he means by chemicals he means sugar (and other sweeteners) he isn't wrong. If you don't want to admit you overeat, that's on you dude. Hiding behind the "chemicals" in your food as the primary reason for gaining more than a pound a day isn't within reason.
I wish you the best, and hope you figure out a diet/fitness regimen that works for you in the coming year.
Since you want to talk about facts... what is your basal metabolic rate, and approximately how many calories were you ingesting per day during this month of 45 pound weight gain? What exactly were you eating during this period? I don't need a daily play by play obviously, just a general idea. Frankly, I think you're used to no one challenging you on this soccer mom "my body needs to be purged of chemicals and toxins" horseshit and have yet to take your health into your own hands looking for external factors to blame. It's easy to shot down facts when you think you know it all, yet won't take 5 seconds to research that you're wrong.
