Arnold to do Terminator 4 Cameo?

MGM Chairman and CEO Harry Sloan said in Boston this week that California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger may do a cameo appearance in Terminator 4.

"Yes, we will need a new actor," Sloan said about the title role. "But Arnold may do a cameo. I think it's in his contract."

Sloan also said that he has given the green light to The Thomas Crown Affair sequel with Pierce Brosnan again in the lead.

"Pierce still looks good in a tux," he said, not divulging many other details about The Topkapi Affair.

T3 was tough to watch at the end. I went into the movie looking forward to the action, but came away sad when the nukes were falling. Sic transit gloria mundi.

Even Cameron went on to admit that if he were to have done a third movie T3 is how he would've done it; despite his objections to it when it was first announced.

I liked all three of them (t3 was the worst though), but the story was the same in every movie. T3 kinda went a bit further then the previous ones but it's still the same as the first two

T3 is one of the worst movies I've ever seen. No joke. Please don't let that hack of a director (of T3) direct T4.

T3 wasn't terrible...but it wasn't very good. Certainly not up to the standards of the first two. I hated the casting, the complete lack of menace in the film (even when Arnold is throwing the John) around, the happy-time graveyard shoot out, 'hot' villain, pointless plot points (John gets trapped in a dog cage...), and coincidences (this is the one that kills John in the future!!, Kate Brewster's dad), cameo for cameo's sake (psychologist from first two movies)...

The more I break this movie down, the more I wonder why I think it wasn't terrible, since there seems to be nothing about it I like. Hmmm...it had a really good chase scene. And I'm amazed, and happy, that the studio let a movie these days end on a down note. Uh...I'm really puzzled by my reaction to this movie now.

Now are you taking a shot at how bad T3 was with the unnecessary latin phrase, or simply adding a random comment on how the nukes did end the world as we know it at the end of the flick? OR just trying to look cool with random latin phrase that is barely in any context.

It just seems a bit over the top to throw down glory of the world is all :lol

T3 was a decent action movie, but a terrible Terminator movie. Not having the Sarah character in it was a big mistake IMO. She was as big a part of the series as the Ahnold version of the Terminator. She at least deserved a proper onscreen death.

T3 was great and fun. Not T2 great, and not a T1 classic, but great action movie nevertheless.

I'm not sure if T4 will be worth it without Arnold, though.

See, now why would you go and lie your ass off like that? Cameron, when asked on a television interview about what he thought of it, said 'Yeah, it was surprisingly good, it's a hard thing to do to take somebody else's work and make it your own. But Jonathon did that'.

It's not like he was going rip into it knowing his comments would be published. T3 should've gone straight to the future war. John was a ****ing pussy in T3. T3 was a parody of T2. How do you turn one of the coolest characters in film into a gay robot?

The only thing decent about T3 was the ending, which was pretty clever. But ungh @ the bad actors... and Arnold talked way too much. He should've just shut his mouth and kicked ass.

True, imo it just didn't feel like a Terminator film at all. Ending was pretty nice though.

Sarah is dead so that would be tricky. Unless the machines decide to send back a Sarah Connor Terminator to try and kill John! I'm a genius!

Or the could make a prequel. Terminator Zero: [something cliché] *shivers*

Why do they rape old franchises? Why not make something new? What has happened too creativity?!

T3 was good, but the acting blew. i didn't know machines could express some hint of "emotions".

i wonder who'll be T4?

First of all, I didn't like T3 so I don't know why a fourth part is necessary. T3 didn't really feel like a Terminator to me. They screwed it up with the gay sunglasses and the 'talk to the hand' thingy, as well as the stupid Terminatrix.

Arnold Schwarzenegger is the only one who should play Terminator. They will never be able to reproduce T2:Judgment Day's atmosphere anyway. That movie is perfect.

Female terminators making modem noises down a mobile phone, it should have been called Carry On Terminating.

Nobody ruins my family vacation but me...and maybe the boy!
T3 wasn't that bad, it was decent although it doesn't hold a candle to T2. Another Terminator won't be the same without Arnold as the main guy :(
