this is probably one of my favourite threads to follow- but alot of the conversations held her border on being softcore porn. lol.
Let's be honest. This is probably one of your favourite threads to follow BECAUSE alot of the conversations held her border on being softcore porn.

And with Gordon TV show coming, it looks like DC will continue to upper hand over Marvel on TV.
>>>>> to Felicity? You poor son of a bitch. Also, Skye >>>>>> everyone in Arrow except Laurel.

I do not think so. SHIELD embraces some humor while Arrow really only delivers that once Ollie starts doing weird stuff and trying to explain them to Felicity. So 3+ episodes in.
On Pilot vs Pilot comparison, SHIELD is the clear winner. Arrow needed a few episodes (and then some) to get into the awesome shape it is, but SHIELD just started.
Besides, Marvel > DC is ALWAYS the answer
You don't need humor to be a good show, to be honest. I haven't watched SHIELD yet but Arrow's pilot was pretty damn good and gives you a very good impression of what the show will be about (it does get more awesome with the Island flashbacks though later on).

You do not *need* it per se, but it helps to treat SHIELD as a completely different type of show compared to Arrow. As weird as it sounds, they are not directly comparable, because of differences like this. The tone is different.
Though I still liked Arrow more than SHIELD, even back at the pilot
Arrow didn't get great/amazing till they started going all out on the island stuff.
What was Slade's first episode?
Sorry for the low light. Felt weird using two Flashes for this photo.
Welcome Grant Gustin!!

The worst choice iirc.
Please Lord let season 2 OT be different than this one...
Looks doable. He looked douchey as fuck on Glee but probably because none of the facial hair and everything. Here's your Flash:

‘Arrow‘ season 2 continues to expand its DC horizons with each passing day, and the latest just might signal a major breakthrough for the CW series. The DC drama’s latest get for the sophomore season, premiering October 9, is none other than ‘Percy Jackson‘ vet and ‘Dawson’s Creek’ fave Dylan Neal, whom we can exclusively reveal to be playing the famed DC villain Dr. Anthony Ivo!
Appearing in Oliver (Stephen Amell)’s island flashbacks, ‘Arrow”s incarnation of Dr. Anthony Ivo will emerge as abrutal but ruthless scientist who will stop at nothing to unearth a breakthrough that dates back to the latter days of World War II. Neal’s Ivo will appear in a four-episode arc beginning with episode 5, “League of Assassins,” with the potential to recur in later installments.
Those familiar with DC comics will recognize Anthony Ivo as the creator ofNeal himself has a long list of TV and film credits, among which were previous CW appearances on ‘Smallville‘ as Metropolis DA Ray Sacks.the power-mimicking “Amazo” android, as well as a villain in his own right with both a paralyzing fear of, and a desire to conquer death.
This shit is off the chain. Throw in those pirates, and shiiiiiiiiiiiet.mystery dating back to World War II?

Looks like we are seeing the return of a certain someone at some point!
I'd post some of the article, but would rather not spoil it for those that don't want to know. I'm really curious to see in what way this will be done.
Yeah I knew 'Deathstroke' was earlier, just thought Slade had appeared more.Deathstroke apeared around episode 5, just not Slade.

guess thats a good thing though to have a supporting character show up that late, be the favorite part of the show and feel like he was there all along.
excite! One of the quotes from the writers was something along the lines of "The flashbacks in season 1 were based on the question 'what happened to Oliver on the island?' while season 2's flashbacks are 'what happened to Slade on the island?'" , so we should be getting some series Deathstroke screen time this season.

Which Flash is going to be in this series? Barry Allen? Or is it supposed to be Wally?
I agree with that. I think Marvel is going down the comic relief route now with Whedon in charge (they conveniently forgot about that tone in Incredible Hulk and Captain America or even IM2 but that was simply because that movie was shit) which is good as it gives us a clear distinction between DC properties and Marvel ones.
