So she blames Oliver for making them dine with his ex.... yet she's the one that invited them and both him and Tommy were against it. Yeah nice writing. Really wish they'd just get rid of the bullshit relationship stuff and focus on taking down bad guys.

The CW strikes again! Earlier in the season, it felt like there was a better balance but now, I'm starting to get really bored with the soapy elements, especially when they're this badly written. The cemetery scene was excruciating, with such pearls of wisdom as "I can't get hurt again" and "I'll never hurt you."

Gads.

I suggest they just do an episode where it only follows him on the island, and cuts back to Walter being Walter.

What drove me crazy was that fact that Ollie gives her the domino mask, but won't wear one himself?!? WTF?? That green eye paint is sooooo lame.

It's Felicity Smoak- and she already exists in the DCU. She's Firestorm's stepmother.

So.

"Speedy" is now Ollie's younger sister and not Roy Harper.

Her comic book character and her TV character are completely different.

Its more likely that the TV character will end up more like Naomi than some businesswoman stepmother.

the huntress is fucking gorgeous. and her attitude is the cherry on top.
felicity (IT girl) is cute too. i hope she gets a bigger role.
they gotta work on laurel. she's still awful.

diggle being oliver's conscience is getting annoying. their interactions need to be more balanced. i hope tommy's storyline wont be so boring and predictable.

another solid episode though.

"Does it come in purple?" :D

Anyway, enjoyed this episode a lot. They've managed to show the difference between both vigilantes attitides very starkly, despite them both being killers. And while it sucks to Olie..gun wielding Huntress > crossbow Huntress. Loved how she killed those triad guys. Hope she will appear in more episodes.

Also...good job on improving Tommy. Now please, dear writers, do the same to Laurel.

She actually improved quite a bit tonight. Either she starts feeling comfortable with her character or with the set/colleagues. Let's see what happens in the future.

De Gouw was a lot better this episode. Ill just try to forget that dinner scene ever happened.

Good episode. I enjoyed it

What the literal fuck is this? Anybody that doesn't think this chick is actively destroying this show with the black hole of watchability that is her "acting" is straight tripping balls.

Bitch can't keep her accent in her pants and her line delivery is LAWLFUL. When she said "You have failed this city" I nearly shat myself laughing. Then the "I don't speak Chinese..." line?! And that final confrontation?? HOLY MARY MOTHER OF FUCK WHAT IS SHE DOING ON THE SCREEN THAT I AM WATCHING?! World's Slowest Punch of ALL TIME Award 2012 goes to HUNTRESS for trying to pretend like she can fight while someone rolled a camera! Congratulations! That shitty IT girl is a better actress and I don't believe she knows where a god damned space bar is in real life.

Regarding the actual episode, what was up with the awkward ass graveyard scene and ensuing dinner scene? Why is Ollie taking his new girlfriend to the grave of his dead ex-gf? Oh, so we can set up this equally awkward scene later? Got it. Carry on.

Enough with this "how dare you fucks have these opinions!?" bullshit, please. It's annoying as hell.

BYE it's not that serious

This episode was great. Favorite parts were the Dinner scene and Walter rummaging through his wife's stuff the moment she leaves the room (not even the house!).

Yeah. They get longer and longer with each passing episode. :)

In S2 they will make entire episode in the gym.

I need this. They fucked up in TDKR when Bruce Wayne was only training for like 6 seconds. Could have been amazing.

The Arrow is satisfying my training motivation right now.

I know. I love it. Jensen Ackles is the most emotive actor on television.

I kinda wanna see him guest-star on Arrow!

that hamming it up to eleven. (twelve being the honorary Bison level, of course)

They didn't show his "I played in As the World Turns" for no reason. Sam pretty much has like five faces or so as well. Crowley meanwhile, is just having a blast being Crowley.

Come on, anyone watching this for the acting performances is clearly very misguided about where one would go to find excellent actors. This show, like all TV action shows, is a guilty pleasure.

I mean: John Noble, a pretty experienced actor, on Fringe pretty much hammed the fuck out of Walter Bishop the first season. Who would expected that show to live anyway? Nobody. So Fox renewed it to spite us all. Walter sure became memorable as a result though.

Their are also the only shows I still watch at this point. Fringe (ending, but ok), Supernatural (oh come on, another season?), and Arrow (see you next season!).
And for reference: I fucking hated Smallville after the first half-ish of the first season. Dean Cain Superman >>>> Tom ... whatever his last name is Superman BLLUUUURR. (...ells? Something like that?)

I have even stopped watching Dexter (another guilty pleasure) and Homeland (I hear it won an emmy. Hi, my name is: don't give a shit). :|

Wow, last night's episode was.. really good? I'm a little surprised. The girl playing Huntress did a lot better acting too I thought. Good episode, the mid season finale will be interesting! Can't wait to see what happens.

Also thumbs up for Dean gifs.

I enjoyed the episode, but there's something with Jessica De Gouw's acting that feels off when she's The Huntress.

It's because she is the worst. I'm so glad she is not a regular on this or any show.

Well, there's a difference between thinking she's wooden/not very good/terrible and angry vomiting which is what you initially were doing.

See, there's a difference between

She's a terrible actress, don't like her here

and

Though truth be told, I did legit laugh while reading this post. It was pretty hilarious.

I feel like I should be entitled to a little ragebarf every now and then when extreme circumstances present themselves. I wouldn't badpost if I didn't feel so strongly about it. To be so awful in a show where the par for quality is already so absurdly low, and then to have people say she's improving? This is a serious matter that requires a champion. I've volunteered myself.

I never asked for this.

Certainly that is your right. Just as other people can feel entitled to call you a douchebag. ;)

That is fine.

But this is not. Just as you are entitled to your own opinion, others are entitled to theirs. If they feel Helena's actress has improved a bit then that's their opinion. You trying to go on a rant/crusade about other people's opinion (as opposed to the show) will just invoke others' ridicule, which you'll then complain about. If you can't take the heat then don't play with fire.

The Muse of Fire, amiriteoramirite!?
