Wow last weeks episode was definitely a "holy shitballs" type of episode! It started off great with Ollie and Diggles issues still unresolved. It was great getting to see Ollie and Felicity do a mission together without the help of him for once. Got really fucking tense when they were onto Felicity and knew she was wired, though ofcourse Ollie came to save the day and fucked shit up. Even better was obviously him following his mom when he saw her reaction to Walter dying only to find out he was still alive. Shit got even more crazy when he went in and saved him! To see Tommy's dad at the hospital asking how Walter was doing was super chilling. Great scene between him and Oliver. To make things even better was Laurel still finding out that Oliver loved her and her confronting him and Oliver turning her down.
The flashback scenes were great too! Especially when you found out exactly what happened to cause the boat to explode in the first place! Was great to see Olivers dad again and Ollie trying to sneak around with Laurels sister. Pretty cool to finally get some flashbacks before the island.

When this show started, I wasn't really that interested. I recorded it anyway because I was hoping for the best. After letting the episodes pile up, I finally got around to checking them out. I wish I had started sooner. The action is pretty solid, and the writing staff is doing a solid job with doling out Ollie's origin story. The island stuff is great, with Slade being a real standout. I'm glad he's a regular next season. Oh, and the cast being filled with hot actors
doesn't hurt matters.

Thea is hideous. Hopefully she dies in the finale. Roy turns to Ollie for some sweet, sweet consoling. Just when things look like smooth sailing between them, Slade shows up in town.
I'm also fine with Roy turning to Felicity, or Diggle. Just as long as I don't have to look at Thea's stupid face.
