Finished tonights as well just now, really think that was the best episode so far.

Still to much chest hair.

Which is funny because I like his character. I wish they would "dark" it up some more, make the whole cop aspect a little more gritty. I'm guessing the chest hair part is some fashion designer at work because all the males seem to have shirts that could allow it. I just find it hilarious how all the women are covered up yet it's four button open season for all the guys.

Any details on how long the Huntress will be sticking around for?

Yea, they had zero chemistry during their date. I did not buy that scene at all

I was excited for Huntress... sexy looking girl, was hoping for sexy banter, great chemistry, you know, the anti-Lauren.

Amell is actually pretty good, I think. I like the way he plays Ollie as sort of a semi-psychotic messed up robot.

Man, I got so many crying GIFs stocked up for moments like these.

I think that works alright when its played off someone who is an actual dynamic person. Played off against an even more wooden robot is just painful to watch
 
I liked the Huntress and she does have better chemistry with Oliver than Laurel does (to be honest..everyone has better chemistry with him than Laurel). The date scene was a little akward, but the final one was great :)

Plus the girl can fight pretty damn well.

Also...damn, the next episode looks fun as hell.
 
I'm trying to overlook some of the shortcomings of this show just because I've wanted a darker comic show for a while as it fits TV perfectly. There's a lot of problems, but I've seen crappy shows grow into good ones with time.

Did anyone catch the SNL skit about Hawkeye on The Avengers? I've thought about that ever since Arrow came on so once I saw that skit, I knew I wasn't alone. It fits so well with this show too.
 
Also...anyone thinks it's not Tommy that will become Arrow's version of big bad Merlyn , but it will be his father instead? I felt that's what the whole fencing scene was foreshadowing and it would make much more sense than little Tommy, with zero fighting experience, being able to stand toe to toe with Oliver.

I thought they were brothers at first. The father looks way too young to be tommy's dad

Huh. Maybe. But it wouldn't make much sense for a super rich dude who's the head of a powerful crime syndicate (?) to be a weirdo costumed villain.

With Tommy cut off from wealth, they'll probably push him toward something like that, but it'll take time. Which makes that bow wielding guy they're teasing strange.
 
Huntress is NOT hot enough to make up for as awful an actress she is.

The actress playing Huntress wasn't the best in the world, but hey, everyone deserves a break. She'll get better over time.

She wasn't bad. Just not extremely good.
 
She was a terrible actress, the worst on this entire show, which is really saying something. She looks like a beat up Liv Tyler from 10 years ago. Johns' script wasn't that good. You guys wanna kiss this show's ass a little harder please?

They're going to Green Goblin that shit. It's the most obvious way to turn Tommy, who is currently spoiled but seems to be kind of a decent guy, into a villain.

If they pull it off correctly, I think it can really work out.
 
Speedy is the only attractive woman on the show, and she has lots of chemistry with ollie.

I think its obvious what needs to happen.

Laurel and the mom are good actresses, they're just given either bland or terrible writing. I want to say Laurel was miscast, but that would imply that someone else could do something with that boring ass character.
