Eh. We haven't been following that at all. Everyone knows what
Roy and Laurel
will probably eventually become. You can always just say *comic spoilers* and put whatever you want to talk about in spoilers.

Oh ok. Just playing it safe. Thanks though. I read the first page and thought " oh snap, a show about Green Arrow?". Watched it and returned to the last page. Haha.

And they've already begun work on Season 2.

So this show's pretty good. Sure takes a lot of liberties with the source material, but whatever. It's way better than I expected.

I worry about his rogues gallery, though, seeing how he doesn't really have one. I'm already tired of the corrupt businessmen. I want more guys like the Count.

I also wonder if the references to other DC stuff are anything more than cute references. Bludhaven, Coast City, Central City ("Back in a flash!"), Ferris Air. Curious that they've yet to mention Gotham or Metropolis.

Of course I can't see GL or Flash working in the more grounded world they've set up, nevermind the TV budget. Nightwing, though? Hmm... I could see Nightwing's nonlethal approach vs. Arrow's approach being a point of tension between the two, and sort of a reversal of Arrow's conflict with Huntress.

Whatever happens, this show needs The Question. And then he needs to get his own spinoff.

How far have you gotten?

Get in that ass, Diggle.

edit: Oh god some of those comments. They don't like a black man touching the slurry queen, I guess. Some weird fuckin' threat in Portuguese. The fuck?

not at all lmao. i shouldnt be surprised people still (in 2013??? really???) freak out about it, but i am.

Wait, what's this all about? She's returning, right?

Laurel has a great body, but Felicity is easily the hottest chick on the show.

Yes, Felicity is back. She has been upgraded to a main cast member too which means she will have even more screen time. Roy and Slade have also been upgraded to main cast.

hahaa diggle's gettin some. realistically though he's not touching any of the main cast in the plot, i think the audience would be mad :/

laurel looks pretty in those pics, but god damn was she stupid in the finale.

Come on, have you never had files to protect during a catastrophic event more important than your own life? hmmmm????

not to mention her friend had the common sense to escape while laurel decided to stay behind and chill with the rubble.

i wonder who the big villain of season 2 will be.

I dont get the hate on Amell I think he plays the broken character he is well. In the starting Island flash backs he shows he can act normal and not "Robotish" I mean the dude is back after being tortured and lost on an island for years with no escape. The way he acts works well with the character.

At the time they weren't allowed to, will probably change for season 2 though.
Batembargo seems to be over or much more relaxed lately.

As long as the Justice League movie is still possible, I think they'll refrain from mentionning Gotham. We might get wonder Woman though if they really want to get that show started.

I actually really liked their version of Count Vertigo. Especially the double syringes in the neck.

I'd love to see Nightwing on the show.

Is the last paragraph referring to Thea shooting arrows and shit???? Please!!!

“We made no secret of the fact that we subscribe to the Whedonesque model of having a big bad, and in Season 2, we’ll actually have two big bads,” executive producer Marc Guggenheim tells TVGuide.com. “They’ll both be very recognizable names to fans of the comic book. We’re really excited about both of them.”

Please let it be Snowflame.

The question of Season 2 is, ‘What happened to Slade Wilson on that island?’”

Bueno.

Don’t discount that last bit, as TVLine reports a “revelatory” moment was axed from following the scene in the season finale in which Thea helps Roy fend of a group of thugs as the earthquake strikes the Glades. “They cut out an entire scene that would’ve given a lot more away,” Haynes tells the website. “It was a big scene … that might’ve told you the route that Thea is going, or the route that Roy is going. But I think they didn’t want to give too much away.”

Roy = Arsenal
Thea = Speedy

DO IT!

It kinda sounds like Slade is going to be a bad guy for season 2 and you see how that happens on the island :(

if you follow the dc comics, slade wilson is portrayed as a major villain. its highly probable you will see a villainous "crixus" in season 2, but im not entirely sure how they will string this together

He's a mercenary/assassin he gets paid to do shit most of the time. And he isnt a villain all the time plenty times he has shined through as an Anti Hero.Hopefully he just continues as an antihero

That would be great! Do it!

I'm guessing someone will hire
Slade
to take out Green Arrow. Then he'll probably see Ollie more as a contract than
his friend from the island.
Maybe.

Yeah I was hoping they'd go the latter route. In this incarnation, didn't he say he worked for Australian intelligence? Could have been a lie though.

The hell?

Aw, hell naw. Ollie and Slade's burgeoning bromance is one of the best parts of this show. I don't wanna see Slade turn evil.

I actually like this idea, it would bring a nice contrast into the show. Having island flashbacks of them working together and Ollie's continued training, while in the present you see them face off as adversaries.
