I dont get the hate on Amell I think he plays the broken character he is well. In the starting Island flash backs he shows he can act normal and not "Robotish" I mean the dude is back after being tortured and lost on an island for years with no escape. The way he acts works well with the character.

I agree. it is similar to how people said Anna Torv was so stiff when Fringe started, but in reality it was the character being so formal and controlled. Faux-livia showed us the real range of the actress and as Ollie's backstory is revealed, I think we'll see the same thing.

I just... can't imagine Thea as a vigilante. It would just look so ridiculous.

I can picture her trying and failing and getting killed quickly though.

Apparently the scene when Thea comes to Roy's rescue was longer and showed some things about her and her abilities, but they cut it because it would have given a bit too much away.

Thea must never die :(

The hell?

Aw, hell naw. Ollie and Slade's burgeoning bromance is one of the best parts of this show. I don't wanna see Slade turn evil.

Same :(. Slade is so awesome as Ollie's sidekick, or Ollie as Slade's sidekick I guess lol. Team Island (Shado is legit too) > Team Roy/Thea (ewwwww). Can we just have Slade show up, kill Thea, blame it on Roy so that Ollie kills Roy; then Slade and Ollie become partners, np. Show redeemed.

The Count is so wonderfully unhinged. They need to find a way to bring him back.

The Count was the best villain behind Malcolm. Glad they kept him alive, he should definitely make an appearance in the future!

Most definitely. Love that dude.

Wonder if with the destruction of the Glades, we get a No Man's Land type situation several months down the line. Or has the government stepped in and taken care of shit.

I wanna see the Count loose in the madness.

I'm trying to decide whether to watch this. I watched the pilot episode last night and thought it was OK. Does the quality stay about the same, improve or decline throughout the season in your opinion?

i started watching this after learning "crixus" was making an appearance and despite the heavy cheese involved, i still somewhat enjoyed this series and agonisingly waiting for season 2 to come out

Oh Amell. Why are you so sad.

Just finished watching the finale.

As far as time on the island goes, Fyers talks about a 2 year operation undone because of Oliver dropping in. So at least another 3 years on the island?

The operation was already a year in progress before Oliver arrived.

We don't have to wait the until 2014!?.....

Nope. Although they'll probably be similar breaks in the season as in the first season.

Edit: Surprised the thread is so tame. I thought we'd be drowning in questionable fanfiction by this point.

If the series wants to be true to it's Nolan-Batman roots, he'll quit for eight years and hobble around his mansion.

Then again, Ollie might just do some pushups to get past his soul-crushing depression like Bruce did to *DKR spoilers*
get over his BROKEN BACK
*DarkKnightRises spoilers*.

"The Hood... has to come back."

"What if he doesn't exist anymore?"

"He must... he must..."

"But every single acre of the glades is now filled with hoods."

Ha! Ghetto joke.
