He dead. Haha. Actually I don't know but he might as well be. They swept him under the rug. Last we saw him he was beaten half to death, right? They probably won't bring him up again, even if he is canonically alive. His biggest connection was to Laurel and...she dead.

Zoom realizes he has to save the world from Darhk, stops the nukes mid-air, but dies in the process. Jay Garrick redeemed.
I feel like they really tightened up the flashbacks this episode. Let's review all the new plot points:

That would be utterly hilarious if both season finales happened at the same time and both big bads just got up in each others' faces telling the other to step off, they called dibs.
You know what, fuck it, I want this. Gimme Zoom vs Darhk.
They really should have just re-cast someone else in the role instead of dropping the story. Huge mistake.

Yep one wants to conquer and seemingly rule the world while the other wants to destroy the world and rebuild. Would've been interesting if Zoom would've been the last straw in going through with Genesis. We have to destroy the world to stop monsters like Zoom.
Man, all of Season 4's stupidity would be instantly redeemed in my opinion if the finale of both Flash and Arrow was just Barry and Oliver going

Thea went from secretly the worst character in season 2 to one of the best characters these days. Which means she'll get killed off in season 5 because all females bow to Felicity somehow
That ending with Thea was some straight up Resident Evil: Retribution shit, but in a good way.
Diggle is the best character on the show. It was overdue but finally he did the first sensible thing by killing Andy.
And what the hell is with this Felicity=light magic nonsense. I was joking that during the fight in the back of the truck with Ollie and Darhk that he probably heard Felicity say "Use the force!" And that legit happened.
She's the reason behind the magic...UGH
And the OLICITY FERN!! Can you say tumblr pandering. They're obsessed with that damn fern from forever ago. It's disturbing.

Last few episodes have been good. It's weird, seems like Flash and Arrow have ebbed and flowed against each other this season. Beginning of Arrow was pretty good, Flash struggled, but righted itself and then Arrow started flailing. Flash the last 3ish episodes has been at a low point, while Arrow seems like it's been on an uptick.

That was one of the best episodes in a long time. Diggle and Lyla are the badass power couple of this show. It was also great how Thea figured out something was off pretty much right away. Secret best character on the show confirmed again.
I was getting sick of Darhk because his objective has been on the back burner for such a long time, but he redeemed himself in this episode.
This show is just so much stronger when they drop the flashbacks. Spend the time and money on the present day plot. That's what we want to see now. Even getting an extra 2 or 3 minutes of characterization can go such a long way.
Esrin Fortuna was funny and smoking hot. More Defense Against the Darhk Arts training with her, please. Lol

True. It's just the way it happened that made me laugh. Like of course it's Felciity that undoes Darhk. Now they'll get back together until another illegitimate kid comes out of the wood work.

I only lurk this thread but I had to chime in and echo others....one of the best episodes of Arrow in years. Not perfect, but interesting things were happening and made you pay attention. I thought the attack on Diggle's family was actually more intense than the show usually tries to be as well.

Let me get straight, the whole world´s nukes are in a chip, and that chip in Leila´s arm, yet there is barely any kind of protection to hold off people from destroying the world? Too dumb. Otherwise pretty good episode.

I have come to the conclusion that I actually really like Felicity.
What I dislike is the obsession the writers seem to have with her and Oliver as a unit.

I was reading the ratings of this show on wikipedia and season 2 was the lowest viewed season and season one had the highest views. Season 4 will probably skyrocket because of Ollicity.
Despite my Olicity rampage last page, I do like her. The scene this episode when she hits the HIVE henchmen with the van and she says something like "I haven't hit anyone with a van like that in awhile." That's classic Felicity the one we all came to love.
I blame the Fern! It's behind all this drama.
