Well.... It is far enough in the future where they could have rebuilt. I mean, they did say that in the mid 2100s that outside the corportation zone, it was hell.

Heck, the future Arrow episode was like an Apocalypse city.

That, and future alternate timelines. :P

#4.23 "Schism" Season Finale Synopsis
OLIVER TEAMS UP WITH A SURPRISING FORCE TO STOP DAMIEN DARHK – Oliver (Stephen Amell) teams up with a surprising force in an attempt to stop Damien Darhk (guest star Neal McDonough) and his magic once and for all. It won't be Constantine :(

It won't be Constantine :(

Surprising Force is basically anything they don't want to reveal.

It could be Constantine making another appearance.

It could be Black Siren, taking the place of Laurel after being turned good by Barry.

It could be Merlyn, because Oliver doesn't learn a fucking thing ever.

It could be Donna Smoak because why the hell not.

It's basically "we don't want to say who's in this episode"

Ollie resurrects Vandal Savage to fight Dahrk, and Legends is all his fault.

Wasn't Andy still under control from that pill?

Doesn't seem like the pills last that long, I think there was a comment in an earlier episode about them being out of his system. He willingly chose to follow Darhk before and after the pills, they just helped.

It won't be Constantine :(

THey will go find the boy who will become the greatest magician in history of the universe.
And then when Timothy Hunter is on the show, owl on his shoulder and glasses on his nose, the jokes about Harry Potter can commence ;)

Great for him.

It is
Curtis probably, it won't be anyone we want like Slade

That is Flash territory.

This is Arrow, not other superhero show. So while faithful to the comics tradition that the villain must loose, there's nothing suggest at least some of those nukes won't actually hit.

They could for instance hit Lian Yu so a certain villain escapes.

They had Potter jokes on Arrow too :)

Yeah, but Arrow can't match them, they already have Harry Potter cosplay in the form of Pied Piper.

It would be cool to see Flash crew, all scientific minded go completely blank when faced with genuine magic :D
Genuine magic you say?

I do hope the next archvillain in Flash won't be another damn speedster. Darkh is completely scholing Zoom as far as villainery goes this season.

I wonder though, villains aside. If Flash crew managed to make Grodd and King Shark on TV, then Swamp Thing should be possible too.

Swamp Thing's probably a lot easier. They could make him a suit from the neck down and a CG head. He'd be closer to Martian Manhunter than Grodd or King Shark.

Oh, and OBLIGATORY

I like zoom better but I do enjoy Darhk much more than I did Ras last season. I'm with you though in wanting a big bad on flash that isn't a speedster.

Plus, in an unprecedented cross-media event,
Sonic the Hedgehog
joins the fight, finally making the Season 1 OT's title relevant to the show it is about.

This episode again reinforces my theory that the team is better with 2-3 people in the field rather than 4-5. Much easier to focus the action and less need to explain why a big group of people can't fight a single target or something like that. It's better with less. And you guys know how much I loved
~Roy~
on the team.

Or one of the best this year, only behind those where Laurel was killed.
You know, they setup that Thea was immune to Darhk's magic, remember? I remember. The writers don't seem to.

But you know. That didn't have anything to do with Felicity, so of course it's out the window.

They took that away when they saved her life. They removed the darkness that Darhk was absorbing because it was killing her. Malcolm lost his hand then. . You seem to have forgotten that. Also, she hasn't been attacked with the absorbing magic since then.

Actually, I take back my spoilers from earlier. It's
Swamp Thing.

Flash is over there making the 90s Flash show cannon and all this time we've actually been in the
90s Swamp Thing
TV universe.

This makes too much sense to me so don't even try to prove me wrong.

I agree. Now remove Felicity entirely and it gets even betterer!

I definitely agree, each story has enough time for them to actually make sense, the fight choreography has much more impact when it's focused on less people, and the characters have the room to show different dimensions instead of just "Ok Felicity is mad this week so we've made all Thea's lines quips for balance"

She is not out on the field, they need some support. It was a bit strange to have him try it without tech support. For the fights, she is no problem while Laurel was, especially because she wasn't a good fighter. In that optic, Diggle is a better choice to remove than Felicity.

Quipping Felicity back at HQ is perfectly fine.

Happy Felicity in a relationship with Oliver is perfectly fine.

Sad crying dramatic Felicity at HQ or in a relationship is the problem.

She was out in the field! She ran over that ghost dude. And she tagged along with Oliver to that magical casino.
