Man I know they kinda reused the gag on Fresh Off the Boat this week but yeah Asian families rarely hug so it was hilarious to see every time.

Now that I think about it, I can't remember the last time I hugged my little brother or dad. lol

I'd say try to get offers from all of them. Don't just focus on one while slacking on the others or even think about which one you'd rather work for right now. And then once you have all the offers, then you can choose which would be best for you.

Don't worry Bunny, just stay calm ;You can do it!!!

THANKS! hopefully it works out

I'm taking a semester off school so I want to make some money. School is just so bleh right now. I don't think I really learned anything all of last year but you gotta get dat piece of paper to show that you know stuff. despite me already having an okay portfolio and decent work experience

Yeah, it's kind of ridic how people are putting more and more barriers about jobbies opportunities. I'm in HR and we are getting increasingly cutthroat with resume reviews, like if two or three resumes come in with similar experience, the one with extra quals usually will get an edge out of the bunch. Of course, interview skills matter most, but yeah... it's a very competitive world out there right now.

Moneeeeeey~ hope you shall make loads :D and that the job is also fab and the people are cool ^______^

Omg I love your enthusiasm lol. Hopefully I get it! I also applied to Microsoft for shits and giggles because one of their positions seems like its perfect for me since I pretty much have all the right qualifactions and experience for it. However it is in the US and I'm in Canada so I'm probably not even considered.

Hehe~ My energy level ain't nuthin' compared to bunbuns' though ^_____^ (ilu bunbuns <3) Yes! hopefully you will get it! \o/

Ohhh Microsoft! It's not a bad place, I think if you do get in, it's going to work like an industry cred in your resume for later on! Though you are in Canada.... so probably there will be other local candidates that are more attractive to them, but hey, you never know! They don't invent words like Serendipity if weird shit never happens, is what I say!

oooohhhhh i see

seems like a rough place to work ...start-up companies can be super rough and unfair, but i heard that's mostly how it is when people are trying to build something from the ground up. people gets selfish and use others, etc. your boss sounds like a grade-a smellypants >:C i hope your next boss will be the exact opposite! bosses make jobbies~

do you ever look him up sometimes and see how his start-up is doing? :3

nah, i don't think hes gotten very far. he didn't have vision, or he did and it was misguided. i don't know. the last thing I did there was give him a great idea, and i created the whole concept, user experience and design, 3d models that go with it.

i don't even know if hes gonna use it.

That was an interesting physics lab. So far so good for most of these classes. On top of that I may have figured life out.

So, interviews so far with Deloitte & KPMG... I'd be really, really shocked if E&Y didn't give me one either. PwC is a maybeeee, but we'll find out!

I'm freaking out y'all, but TBH even if I don't get an offer anywhere, I'm just thrilled they're even interviewing me. It means a lot to me to even be considered.

Thanks hon <3333 I miss you :(

Good luck to you too!

Out of curiosity, which one of the big 4 do you prefer?

Of the people I've met here in OC, E&Y seem to be the most outgoing. PwC is second.

I don't know enough about any of them, but I've heard that honestly they're all the same (from people who have worked there).

No preferences. I'd like to go somewhere I can learn :D /cliche

i have a cousin in law who works at pwc as a manager. i have no idea what anybody really does in these places. he's written a blog post about making your application standout and the interview process.

he does work in the toronto branch so i don't know how much that will actually help you. let me know and ill pm them to you

I actually work for PwC and interned at Deloitte. From my little experience, I would agree that they are pretty much the same. With PwC still being the best of course ;)

Think it is quite interesting how the differences of the companies are perceived by others and how that varies across countries depending on how well the member firms are doing.

Ooh cool. What do you do for them? Audit? Tax?

I audit the risk management and securities trading of financial services. I think it is quite interesting and pretty close to what I wanted to do. How much I enjoy it depends mostly on my clients, coworkers and superiors though.

I did an audit internship at industrial services and while I didn't like the work that much, the working conditions were much more relaxed because of the clients. Also did an M&A advisory internship, which was nice even though you don't get to talk to a client much at first.

Couldn't imagine doing tax though. It never interested me :)

You can get in as a TN visa as a graphic designer. Microsoft (or any of the other larger tech firms) hire a fair number of foreign workers. As a Canadian you have a leg up due to NAFTA, everyone else has to wait for a visa lottery, but we can get in immediately.

The Art of Seduction

One of my favorite romcoms

What a coincidence, I was just listening to some KDrama soundtracks again.

I recommend Full House and My Girl. Both relatively short (20-ish episodes?) and have happy endings (which I've heard are rare in KDramas).

You haven't watched any Korean films? Go watch Korean thriller/revenge movies when you're not in a romcom mood. lol

Wait, so is it 100% that if a girl invites you over for Netflix, it's not what's really supposed to happen?

Because if so, that means I've fucked up a lot in the past.

Nothing involving social interaction is 100%.

Hard to say without seeing the situation, but I'd still say there's a good chance you might have missed something at least once :p

It happens, I missed a ton of shit and probably still do.

It's okay, neither did I.

My bf explained it to me. He said it's the equivalent of "hey wanna watch a movie at my place?"

I missed a lot of opportunities for free dick, apparently.. but whatever. Whenever I liked a guy I'd invite him over and then suggest we watch porn because what is shame but a name. It was very effective.

It still didn't work once. I was like areyoukiddingme

I don't think girls have any problem getting dick. You guys are offer it about 10 times a day without probably even knowing.

For us... the struggle is real!
