Astrobot was my GOTY so now I have to try Bonanza to see if it's as good as you say.

It's not even close, one main mechanic gets very repetitive, load screens everywhere on a new console, dated mechanics of constant text boxes over lopping animations. Reused boss battles which were underwhelming first time around. Broken camera clipping everything. No challenge whatsoever then massive difficulty spike on final two bosses. End game content stripped from the game and sold as paid dlc. Etc. Etc, etc.

Anyone comparing Bananza to Astro Bot is crazy. Bananza shit all over Astro Bot. And I'm saying this as someone who liked Astro Bot. A lot! Really though, this should have remained a VR game as it sensational on the PS4 VR.

Quite the opposite. PS characters carried this in my opinion completely mediocre game.

Currently playing Bananza which is an actual fun 3D-plattformer and runs circles around Astrobot.

Disagree. I thought Astrobot was much better than Bananza and one of the best games this gen, but.....opinions

Exactly. Both great games so not surprising we are going to have varying opinions on which is best.

Astro Bot if you just want a very good normal-ass platformer in the library.

DK if you play loads of normal-ass platformers already and want a spin on it.
