To be honest, most of the times crowds are awful and have been ever since "WHAT?" became a thing really.
Crowds these days are too busy being absolute shitheads trying to put themselves over instead of participating in the segments and shows.
What chants, CM Punk chants, Boring chants, You've still got it chants before people even do a single move, etc. etc.
Sometimes crowds are really good and fun and do a fun chant and the next week some fuckers think to themselves "oh, that was fun last week, lets do it again" and it's ALWAYS SHIT. ALWAYS.

"You still got it" and "Thank you (wrestler who is typically leaving)" are way worse in my opinion.
And the streamers. Ugh, the fucking streamers. Fuck you ROH. Fuck you.

But... Not every diva at NXT or on the current roster were models. Hell, even Del Rey is there as a trainer. So this confession just comes off as desperate and wanting to be reassured about liking Becky.
Plus, you don't have to like someone just because they were on the indie circuit at some point.

I agree to disagree. I think it's a chant that any wrestling fan would chant, mark or smark. Plus, we live in a time when everyone pretty much knows it's a show, so they're just showing gratitude for a guy's performance. What would be more appropriate? Just clapping and wooing?
Ask yourself this, what shows have you heard "Thank you 'random-wrestler'." at? I've never heard it at an ECW, WWE, TNA, NJPW, NXT, WCW, or NWA show.
Everyone knows "it's a show" but what grates me is the fans that act like that they need to be part of the show.
I don't have a problem with those chants. It's putting the guy over, not themselves. I don't like the dueling chants though.
ROH fans are the equivalent of 16-yr anime fans in general who want to be Japanese and dress up in maid costumes with cat ears.

I like ROH, but I was watching a show one time and in the first row was this 20 something year old guy who was going nuts. He was joined by two old people who were obviously his parents, who had the most lifeless expression on their faces.

Chicago was and is the GOAT crowd. Their smarking for Punk post him leaving is a little annoying but otherwise they are fantastic. They are all natural with their reactions. Nothing forced.
Someone on F4W boards pointed out the red line doesn't appear in the W even though it's clearly beneath it.
Since they make that part see-through, it obviously should be.

The problem with becky is that she has a shitty overdone gimmick. I wish whoever coming up with these gimmicks in NXT would wake up and smell the wwf new generation video tapes to see that gimmicks don't always work. For a company that's trying to do this reality era thing, they are doing it backwards with some of these bland gimmicks.
