Did anyone play the Wrestle Kingdom games? They were the DoR engine but with puro guys. They were pretty fun. I had a PS2 with swap disc and played both. I'd like to play them again, but I'm not buying another used PS2 just to play one or two games. 2 was pretty bare bones in game play, but had a better roster. I went through a big puro phase that ended more being about the awesome video games than actually watching puro. I had VPW2, KoCII, FPW D for Dreamcast, and both Wrestle Kingdom games. Plus I think I had FPR before the American port came out, but I'm not sure about that one.

I'd like to play some of those again, but I'm not going to the effort and expense again.

First off I don't have monday nights off anymore and second everyone is too tired after Raw to watch that stuff.

If I put a new show on when 13 comes it'll have to be on Tuesday nights.

Both SSF4AE and UMVC3 are the big leaders at the moment. PS3 being system of choice, though why I can't possibly tell you.

I don't think he ever was on the indies to begin with. I think he went straight to OVW from amateur wrestling.

Dolph Ziggler was mentioned on Howard Stern today because his gues a comedian Amy Schumer who dated him:

Dolph Ziggler's ex-girlfriend Amy Schumer appeared on the Howard Stern show on Sirius XM today and while she was talking about her current and past boyfriends admitted that she used to date Dolph Ziggler. Stern asked her about the relationship and she had several positive things to say about him, but also said she broke up with him because their sex was "too athletic" and that he was tossing her around like they were wrestling.

Schumer noted that she learned a lot about the business and put Ziggler over well; she noted that she broke up with him over Skype and that she found out that he was "a real sweetheart" and that she hurt him. Schumer noted that she still likes Dolph z lot but that it wasn't meant to be.

WWE.com has learned that Rey Mysterio suffered a concussion at the hands of The Miz this past Sunday at SummerSlam.

According to one backstage source, WWE personnel “suspected [a concussion] because he hit his head.” The following day, precautionary impact testing was conducted and “showed that [Mysterio] is below baseline, which means he sustained some sort of concussion,” the source explained.

WWE.com has confirmed that the San Diego native is not medically cleared to compete at this time. Mysterio did not appear on last Monday’s Raw, and has been removed from all events at least through this coming weekend.

During The Awesome One’s successful Intercontinental Title defense at STAPLES Center in Los Angeles last Sunday, the champion executed a brutal sit-down powerbomb. The maneuver snapped Mysterio’s head against the canvas, which likely caused the trauma and no doubt paved the way for The Miz’s victory. The self-proclaimed “Most Must-See Champion in WWE History” has had his awesomeness questioned in recent months, but The Miz reasserted himself with this dominance over the 619 specialist.

According to WWE physician Michael Sampson, Mysterio “had the first [test] on Monday, which showed us that he was below baseline. The physical exam was normal, but neuropsych testing was below normal. That’s the beauty of neuropsych testing,” he explained. “Based on reaction time and memory, we can measure on a computer, and he was below his baseline. That saves [Mysterio] from causing further injury from the concussion."

It was also confirmed that Mysterio will not return to in-ring action until he is at baseline and passes an exertion test. To be determined at baseline, Mysterio must pass the aforementioned impact/neuropsych test later in the week. Only then will he be permitted to undergo exertion testing.

WWE.com’s source estimated that the former WWE Champion “will probably be taking [the impact test today] if he’s still symptom-free, or later on this week.”
