So Finn Balor sucks on the mic? His aggressive finger pointing and collar popping seems to be all he has when he doesn't have his makeup to fill the personality void.

Finn is kinda a mix between Cena booking, Undertaker as the dead man and biker presentation, the promo abailty of a Randy Orton circa 2007, The build of Eddie Guerrero, and the workrate of surfer sting.

Loved the Gallagher/Fabian Aichner match, along with the Gargano/Ciampa physical match. The others tonight, forgettable and sometimes sloppy.

For the next round, I have not looked at spoilers, but here are my most anticipated scheduled bouts, with my predicted winners (putting them in spoiler quotes in case people fear that it could be spoilers anyway, although I have no clue who is winning)

1 - Kota Ibushi / Cedric Alexander
Ibushi wins, probably all the way to the finals
2 - Akira Tozawa / Jack Gallagher
Gallagher wins, although I'd be fine with Tozawa winning, too. More impressed with Gallagher, though
3 - Rich Swann / Lince Dorado
I want Dorado to win, but Swann will take this
4 - Brian Kendrick / Tony Nese
Kendrick should win so he can face off against Ibushi and use his "heel" antics
5 - Tajiri / Gran Metalik
Metalik should take this over Tajiri to give it Metalik more exposure
6 - TJ Perkins / Johnny Gargano
Could go either way, but NXT needs more talent moving up the ladder for popularity and Gargano has a chance to be the next Balor-like talent for NXT if utilized properly
7 - Zack Sabre Jr. / Drew Gulak
Two grapplers fighting doesn't sound as interesting as I once thought it would. Sabre wins and continues his trek to the finals
8 - Hoho Lun / Noam Dar
Didn't like either wrestler, but Hoho wins.

Your know better than me but was Sombras unmasking with his consent?

Maybe a masked Luchadore would have been better than whatever they are doing now...

Ain't no telling what happened backstage. Mexican wrestling politics make WWE politics look like summer camp.

Despite his good looks, it was ultimately an extremely dumb decision as Mexico has very few distinguished masks left. Especially for the younger guys. And Sombra's mask is one of the coolest out there. Would have helped him stand out in NXT and I said this even when he was in Mexico, I think he had way more charisma with the mask on. I think it helped him feel more confident.

Cedric Alexander has improved so much. His look, the way he carries himself, his ring work...

I'm pretty sure he could be the first black wrestler to hold the main WWE title.

WWE may have a respect and understanding of European and Japenese talent but they seem so stuck behind the times with Latino and Mexican talent.

According to Bryan Alvarez, at one point it was JJ w/out Gable as one of the NXT call-ups. Dudes gonna get Vinced to his demise.
Between him and Big Cass you can already see it happening.

Dont forget before Gable people couldn't stand Jordan. He was booed out of the building at the San Jose show and there we're serious questions as to his future with the company.

They just need to not break up tag teams.

Unless you are going to push both of them or one of them looks like HBK don't fucking do it.

Think of the money they have made with the New Day. Yeah they aren't my fav group with how they are booked but they are over and there is a substantial section of vieweship that enjoys them so I can't really complain.

Vince and Hayes probably had plans to split them up the second they won the belts from Kidd and Cesaro.

Most breakup angles dont work with people that got their start or stayed as the tag champions.

If they want to create a tag team and split Cena and say a Neville up by all means but the shield and Wyatts proved they burned money when they split up groups.

In Cena's early DVD's if I remember Cole and him were really good friends.

Also does Mark Henry's Heavyweight Title run count?
Booker too. But I guess since they didn't have the WWE championship, some people don't feel the urge to count it.

Hell it seems even Booker doesn't acknowledge it given he keeps going with the five time stuff because I guess it's catchier than him being a six time champ. Unless he just wants to think of the WCW belt.

Not believing lying Bryan.

I never knew that, cool. Henry's doesn't count, that's why he should've inducted Cena into the HoP. I'm glad Henry got that instead of Brodus Clay though.

It's catchier and easier to go to. He does say six time as well though.

Why did the fans boo Jordan?
