That injury looks like it's purely Ziggler's fault, honestly.

Also that gif is super smooth

Seems like a miscommunication. Maybe Ziggler was expecting something else, that's a big swing there. Either way it really sucks. Wyatt has such potential to be THE heel on Smackdown but he just can't catch a damn break. :(

It's great that you all can see Matt Hardy's pain and misery and call it a 'character'

is Matt Hardy 'gimmick wrestling?'

I hope to catch up on NXT/CWC tonight so I can stop dodging all of your posts. But I might watch Stranger Things. Maybe I can do both.

But what about February 2000 Nitro/RAW?!

As this year has shown, he is catching breaks. That's the problem.

Man I just watched the Roode promo and am listening to his song again. WWE are really stepping up and providing some entertaining stuff overall. This rules!

edit:

roode's line 'from my watch all the way down to the socks, i'm a superstar' - that's a catchphrase, that'll get over

you'll need to shorten it to 'from the watch to the socks, i'm a superstar' though.

I wanna start reading autobiographies, which wrestlers you guys recommend?

I hear Bret Hart is a must and Chris Jericho ones are great too.

told you boys about Jack Claffey. Dude is the modern incarnation of Johnny Saint. At a time when guys like ZSJ and William Ospreay get the lion's share of attention, it's wonderful seeing Claffey bring British wrestling back to the world of sport style of authenticity

You don't like his Gallagher moniker?

The commentary team should not have even bothered bringing up his MMA considering he has but two fights under his belt, I think. Experienced Martial artist would have gone over better.

Well, as with Nick Nemeth and Jake Hager, I respect wrestlers with ultimate credentials far too much to refer to them by their gimmick names. I get your point about Mauro and Bryan overselling his ultimate experience, but I think that's the sort of thing that helps build his character. The guy doesn't look intimidating like, say, Ciampa does, but Mauro and Bryan remind us that he's every bit as dangerous.

I haven't watched a ton of NXT but is the crowd always as bad as they were during that Bobby Roode segment? Every time he would say something there was a person in the crowd trying to get there joke in. It was really distracting

Yes they are always that bad.

Yep. Full Sail University is a terrible crowd.

I try to tune them out, but it is what it is.

Angry Grimace

Two cannibals are eating a clown. One turns to the other and says "does something taste funny to you?"
That thing where Cena tries to get the crowd to chant specific things is pretty annoying. I think like 1/2 of his promos these days involve explicitly calling out "Let's Go Cena/Cena Sucks." The reason its annoying is because every time he does it, he has really bad timing and rushes through the sample chant he's trying to get going and it doesn't match the cadence of a wrestling chant.

A good percentage of the crowd is more concerned with getting their chants over then actually enjoying the show or the matches.

There like a really bad person at a comedy crowd show who has drank to much and thinks he is funnier then the comedian. I fell like a great crowd should add and react to what is going on in the show but NXT tries to high jack what is going on
