Top 5 right now:
1. Seth Rollins
2. Shinsuke Nakamura
3. AJ Styles
4. Sasha Banks
5. John Cena
Mainly based on 'will I actually sit through a match with this performer in it?'.
It ain't a controversial top 5. I'm liking what WWE is putting down as their top people right now, so my top 5 is probably close to their own internal top 5. And yeah, I've really come around to Cena since he's moved to the mid-card, had consistently good to great matches, and been making funny mainstream appearances where he comes off well.
6. Cesaro
Just to get that in there. I want to see him move up in my top five. If Cena is actually gonna be part time and kinda just show up for the marquee stuff, then Cesaro will move up - but Cena was outstanding last year.
Notable contenders: KO, Jericho, Charlotte, Sami Zayn, Neville
As for earlier top fives, I was an attitude era guy, until the last few years, like so many. I don't think my top 5 of the attitude era would be realistic cos I'd just say HHH, SCSA and Mick Foley even though they might bore me a bit compared to the talent we've got going on now.
I also appreciate Ric Flair, having watched a lot of his stuff on youtube. I also have various opinions on indie talent cos I work with a certain company I'm not gonna name so my REAL top five will remain a mystery.
