If Ibushi/Sabre don't win, then my top choices would be:

1 - Metalik
2 - Gargano
3 - Tozawa (rating him a little lower since Itami and Nakamura are being heavily focused on, so not sure how much of a fair shake Tozawa will get at this point. The same would be said for Ibushi. I hope WWE keeps moving forward with more international superstars and giving them the keys to try to prove themselves.)
4 - Swann
5 - Kendrick for the "comeback" tour (won't happen) or Gallagher for the surprise upset (won't happen). Gallagher is built for NXT rise to fame, could be the next Breeze/Rose/Vaudevillains (not saying it's the best trajectory, but if WWE is needing to fill the NXT ranks with crowd-pleasers, Gallagher could fill that role when Joe/Nak/etc. eventually get called up).

It's cos he's not intelligent, and he's been embarrassing himself since around before the time he left with all this inflated self-belief.

You're not gonna get over this way, Ryback, even on the indies. Your entire gimmick was terrible, 'wake up it's feeding time' is one of the worst entrances I've ever seen, 'feed me more' is a horrible catchphrase, you absolutely suck. They gave him this stuff and he thought it was good, and ran with it hard.

All of the above is true and yet I also feel a little sorry for the guy, cos he thinks all of that is good stuff and the problems lay outside of his performance, which was routinely crap and brought nothing to the shit creative they gave him. The guy actually refers to the secret as his guide to life. So, sorry you're dumb as hell, Ryback, but I'm glad I don't need to endure/skip you on the shows anymore. Bye.

I think Ryback made up for his CM Punk shit by saving Kalisto from killing himself more than once.

Also, I was no fan of Ryback, but those pre-show matches at WM and the event after that are some of the best cruiserweight/big guy matches I've seen in a long ass time.

Those matches with Kalisto were great. Unfortunate timing for his dispute with WWE right as he was putting on some really entertaining performances.

I still really hated his face gimmick. Ryback with a huge grin on his face while getting lovingly kissed by Paul Heyman was where it was at.

Talk about being misused. Obviously Rhodes and Barrett more than the others.
