Red Son was super cool but I wouldn't say it's a good jump-off point if you want to see the depth of Superman. More of a depth of a different one, but it was pretty excellent.

You were suppose to say "mondo cool!"

I only have 3 comics left now. The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man, and Worlds Collide Icon Superboy Meets Girl, whatever that is.

Fuck Davey Richards.

Kingdom Come is goddamn gorgeous. I really love how the strong men in it actually look thick and strong instead of thin with huge muscles, if that makes sense. You'll see it in the books.

Alex Ross is an incredible artist and I love his work, but I can only look at it for so long before it starts to look ridiculous. After a while it's like I'm looking at actual people dressed up as superheroes. Quite silly.

I had to read Kingdom Come in small doses.

Davey Richards in Impact would be great, but I don't see it, just because of Davey's personality.

I'd love to see him vs Aries, Joe, Daniels or AJ.

Right, putting all of these on the iPad, lets see if I can move past my Superman dislike.

I'm starting to believe this sentament. If you look up "tries too hard" in the dictionary, you'll see AJ Lee trying to be a nerd off camera. By off camera, I mean outside of the WWE's television.

I'm thinking she would never get this scrutinization if she didn't have a vagina.

Total Divas: Natalya is actually pretty hot. Cena brought his girl a car and DB looked like a chump.

Haha love that McMahon is taking credit for DB.

Nor would she get any of the attention/push that comes with it. Otherwise, Cody would have been world champion years ago.

Come on, while it definitely helped her popularity in NXT I don't for a second believe her being a geek helped her get pushed by the McMahon's.

The next mainstream WrassleGAF Lexicon topic in the OT is going to include the phrase

"getting jobbed out"

So be prepared.

I've heard jobbed out in a non wrestling related conversation. I think people would be able to pick up on that pretty easily with context clues. I've also heard mark/marked out a lot in non wrestling related conversations.

"Have you ever bought a Biscuit?"

big points if the public knows THAT one.

Surprised they didn't let AJ Lee or Kaitlyn be on Total Divas. Show is pretty good. The Natalya angle must have some truth, even if she knows the game.

Lol;

The wrestling fan who attacked Randy Orton yesterday in Cape Town, South Africa, Tshepo Sekhabi, was interviewed by a South African news website.

Sekhabi, who the article claimed actually had quit his job in order to in Johannesburg to attend the event, ended up with a black eye and a swollen face after Orton kicked him in the face as he was pulled from the ring.

Sekhabi told the news outlet that he planned to attack Orton when he attended the event, saying, "I just don’t like Randy Orton, this was an opportunity for me so I got up there and made a name for myself.”

The article noted that Sekhabi was not "formally" arrested but was given a five year ban from the casino resort where the WWE event was being held and was thrown out of the resort's hotel, where he was staying.

WWE was asked whether Randy Orton would apologize for kicking Sekhabi and responded, "Randy Orton was the victim in this incident and suffered an injured groin."

A lot of wrestling terms are just carny terms. Mark is short for "X Marks The Spot". The origin I heard for Kayfabe is it began as Kay Fabian, a fake name carnies used when they travelled from town to town. When they wanted to notify someone that they arrived safely, they would send a collect call under that name. The other person rejects the call but still gets the message without anybody having to pay for it.

I know it can also be rearranged to sound like "Be fake" but it's still an interesting story as to where the word came from.

In the spirit of Sunflower's social experiment, I'm going to post Aiii's stalkery AJ/Batman pic in the comics thread without comment and see if anything happens.

I have no idea what's going on in this thread half the time I enter anymore.

But saw someone ask, don't watch Superman Unbound, do watch Superman vs The Elite

I like when wrestlers make fun of fans for using industry terms when all those terms are essentially borrowed from something that came before and are not and have never been exclusive to wrestling.

Guardians of the Galaxy #5: Well. At least it's being illustrated by Pichelli I guess. Seeing
one of the deadliest fighters in the galaxy, Gamora,
get jobbed is silly though.

I guess it isn't too uncommon

Only one I can see not resulting in another series of "Go back to WrassleGAF, WrassleGAFfers!" is the TV-buried thread as I've actually heard the word buried used to describe how Fox treats its non-reality/MacFarlane TV shows.

The key for E's writers getting the Total Divas storyline over, (that the Bella twins are a big deal in the WWE,) is for people to not actually watch the product and figure out that AJ is the only real female star in the company, playboy.
