I'm quickly becoming a Ted DiBiase fanboy. But I still can't take Cody totally serious until he stops walking to the ring like he's Ace Ventura. Simply Priceless is one of the best things going in the WWE right now, but in this tag team Ted is HBK, Cody is Jannetty. Ted is Bret, Cody is The Anvil. Sooner rather than later I think its going to get to the point where Rhodes is just holding Dibiase back.

But I am impressed with how over they've gotten as heels so quickly. A lot of it is just great mic and in-ring work by both guys, but honestly, could two up & comers get to this point as quickly with Triple H still on the roster? I would imagine that not having a guy taking up literally 40+ minutes of TV time each week has given not just Simply Priceless, but all of the younger guys they're currently focusing on more time to grow into their characters and in the ring. If Trips were still around Rhodes & Dibiase would be glorified pedigree fodder right now.
 
I just saw TNA HARD JUSTICE pay per view, and it was AWESOME! And i didnt even expect it! Full attendance, great matches [long ones!], lots of fan interaction, and great moves.

TNA Spoilers for this Thrusday
- Thanks to Chris Johnson for the results from last night's iMPACT tapings. These will air this Thursday night on Spike.

(1) Consequences Creed & the Motorcity Machine Guns d. the Prince Justice Brotherhood.

(2) Christian Cage & Rhino d. The Rock 'n Rave Infection.

(3) Matt Morgan d. Johnny Devine.

(4) Sheik Abdul Bashir d. Jay Lethal. After the match Sonjay came out and attacked Lethal.

(5) Taylor Wilde d. Christy Hemme with Traci Brooks as the special referee. After the match, Kong came to the ring and destroyed Taylor until Gail Kim made the save.

(6) Hernandez d. James Storm.

- Jim Cornette announced the main event for No Surrender. It will be Samoa Joe putting his title on the line in a Fatal 4 Way match. There will be 3 matches to decide who his opponents will be and the first one will take place next week with Booker T vs Rhino.

(7) AJ Styles d. Kurt Angle. The lights went out at one point and when they came back on Angle had a black bat. As he went use it they went out again and when they came back on this time AJ had a guitar which he used on Angle and got the win.

The main event for this week sounds VERY interesting. Looks like the build towards
Sting vs Jarrett
for Bound for Glory, which I would be FINE with.

The Sun out of the UK is reporting a close friend of Mick Foley has informed them that the hardcore icon is headed to TNA Wrestling when his WWE contract expires on September 1st.

Foley’s friend told the Sun, “Mick's body cannot handle a full time schedule, even in TNA. But he's hell bent on doing everything he can to further his legacy and put them on the map.

The friend added, "Mick's plan is to wrestle select dates, like Sting currently does. He feels he will legitimately make a big difference in the way TNA Wrestling is perceived by the public!”

Back in 2005, Foley was in talks wih TNA and was very close to signing with the company before he wound up back in WWE. He did not work this week's SmackDown! tapings.

I have always felt that Mick should be a commish/announcer in TNA. In reality, he would be a writer for TNA whose on-air personality adds flavor to the show.

I hope the wrestling he does for them is only for one year. I don't think he can rekindle the magic in the ring nowadays with what TNA has.
 
TNA has a house show here in Lawton this Saturday, got free VIP tickets to it. They seem so much better to coordinate with than the WWE. It seems as if TNA understands FREE publicity and will help one out instead of jerking one around like the WWE does. Interviewed Petey Williams earlier and he seems like a pretty cool guy.

All the experiences I've had with TNA's live events has been top notch. It's a company that "gets" the fact the fans pay the bills. The talent is usually all super friendly (as long as you come off as a human being and not somew super dork)

Jeff Jarrett
is coming back. I NEVER thought I'd say that considering how he dominated the belt for so damn long. But the guy is one of the best.

I liked Cherry.... VERY attractive. Sigh... :(

That's a hell of a lot of cuts.
With Foley and Carlito both rumored to be leaving, that's a LOT of roster room.

Ok, Let's speculate.....

TNA possibilites:
Mick Foley (almost definite. Easy schedule, decent payday)
Stevie Richards (The guy has a ton of personality and can flat out work)
Carlito COULD do a couple shots after he's done with his dad's promotion

Highlanders are way too buried by their gimmick. They MIGHT end up in TNA, but I have a feeling they'll bounce around the indies like Chris Masters has.

Cherry, dunno. She's not the greatest worker, but she was improving. She's deifinite eye candy, so someone's gonna pick her up.
 
I think the Highlanders should split or get a new gimmick. I think they are good enough to get into TNA as singles wrestlers if they manage to acquire some uniqueness.
 
Just got done watching the recap of Smackdown... and Edge has just gone completely nuts, its so awesome. I can't wait for that Hell in a Cell match. It's gonna be awesome!! Are many of you getting the PPV Sunday??

I am guessing Sky Sports cut out the last section of the show as I did not see anything you guys are talking about in regards to Edge. Was the segment that OTT?

BTW, The last time Sky Sports cut something was back in the days of Mohammad Hassan...

Okay, I can see why that got cut...

Make Edge look completly nuts, hopefully he caps it off with a crazy spot in Hell in the Cell. I really think he has to do something huge in it, as they have being showing the Foley spot too much to just have a HitC match that stays inside the cage the whole time.

Man, watching Edge do his whole flopping around, and goofy remarks is kinda reminding me of Dark Knight Joker. Obviously with out the whole killing lol, but just the completely insane mannerisms that he is doing. So well acted... The draft did such a wonderful job in spicing things up to make both shows comparable in quality... But I do agree and give the nod to Smackdown right now. Unfortunately I don't get the CW so I can only watch the Quick Cuts on WWE.com...

I hear that Jeff Hardy injured his neck during a house show so he may miss SummerSlam.

Jeff Hardy reportedly suffered a broken neck at Tuesday night's SmackDown/ECW taping. He was scheduled to do an autograph signing at a Best Buy in Rockford, Illinois yesterday, but Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase replaced him. Hardy was also advertised for last night's house show in Rockford, but did not appear. WWE.com is still advertising the Jeff Hardy vs. MVP match for tomorrow night's SummerSlam pay-per-view.

Batista vs John Cena - They were on top of the world in 2005. They both became world champion. One Day they would face each other. One Day is Today. Will John Cena Overcome the odds or will the animal batista tear John Cena Apart. Its the Biggest Blockbuster of the summer.

Mark Henry vs Matt Hardy - They had a alliance to take out a common enemy. Last Week Mark Henry turned his back on Matt Hardy. Will we see the ecw championship go V 1.0 or will the worlds strongest champion continue his run as ECW Champion.

Not kept up with wrestling much over the past few months. Saw the Punk win, seen the odd match on Raw where he gets made to look like a fool and i've only seen one match with Rhodes and Dibiase but reading here...are they that awesome?

This card looks piss weak. I'll be watching for the CM and JBL match, because I have this odd feeling they'll get the title off Punk. I certainly hope not, but just a gut feeling.

Edge and Taker will steal the show
Cena and Batista, who the fuck cares? The 2 most over rated guys in that company with no one to carry either of them? No thanks. Lesnar vs Goldberg Pt2.
 
The lamp I got for the GaB last month was awesome the whole way through. I'm not expecting to find one of similar quality this time around :(
