The whole slouching thing is part of the science behind standing desks no? (the one posted earlier in the thread).

Doesn't it hurt? Slouching is actually pretty uncomfortable imho

But feel so far away from everything when sitting up right. I NEED TO SLOUCH FOWARD.

Well they do say the best chair is no chair at all.

Man I need a sea change. #earlytwentysmidlifecrisis

Why don't you pull your chair closer to your desk? My stomach usually touches my desk and everything is well within reach.

Because under my desk is the sound system and a bunch of draws with cables etc. Said items can't be put anywhere else.

Have you looked into those weird chairs where you have no back support but kinda lean on your knees.

Let me know if you find a cure for the earlytwintyamidlifecrisis

I've been to a few events there are they've been held downstairs on ground level in a couple of large conference rooms. They usually do a good job hosting and provide food and/or booze afterwards though!

what's the general makeup of the people who go to those things? Is it all business all the time or would there be idiots like me who consider going just to see what it is?

So after many many years of bad posture (e.g. slouching while sitting at a computer) and now 4-5 years of chronic neck pain I have started to try and correct it.
I spoke to a personal trailer recently about improving posture, and he suggested a few exercises to me. The most important one was the cobra, because it works both your abs and lower back. I've also been doing planks and russian twists, which while mainly are for abs may help your posture anyway. You can do all of these at home without any special equipment, but I'd recommend speaking to someone first to make sure it'll work for you, and to understand proper technique.

I've found doing these naturally helped my posture and sitting properly is more comfortable. I guess those muscles weren't well-developed, like yours, and so muscles supporting me while slouching were better developed.

Also maybe check your monitor height, but if you've been experiencing this for years I bet you've already tried a fair bit.

Now, if I could only figure out what specifically is hurting my right hip (probably started from running, but it hurts a bit recently).

I know it's statistically irrational and I myself don't feel nervous at all (okay, just a little) when I'm flying by myself but I can't help but feel a little nervous every time my parents are like "We're boarding the plane now" and I'm like "Yeah... safe travels..."

will gently cradle you as time slowly ticks away.
90% of my posture problems are solved by losing weight.

I'm 6'5" so it's near impossible for me to find a desk and chair I can sit close to my computer without hitting my knees or sitting at a weird angle. I'd love a standing desk, but I can see similar problems arising unless I get one that's custom built for a person my height.

After some delays I finally received my new monitor. I don't know what is the bigger upgrade the fact that it's 1440p or because it's ips.

2 eps into S2 of danger 5.

I don't think I like this as much as S1 but jesus it is weird as fuck.

I hated the first episode. 2nd episode I warmed up to quickly. 3rd episode I was completely on board!
Real jarring transition into that style, felt they came into their own as the world building piled up. Still feel like Tucker was generally a shit character for the whole season though sadly. McKenzie was fantastic, wish he was more involved!

but ever so delicious
This isn't too bad for those who want to start doing Yoga. It's very Yoga though, so lots of relaxation, Hippy sounding stuff.

Standing desk's are OK, However it's actually best to alternative during the day between sitting and standing. Standing for long periods of time will fuck your legs, Especially early on since you haven't been doing it for years. Getting a desk that can go up and down or simply a standing desk + chair, is a pretty good option.

Sounds kinky.

No really. Somebody explain the initialisation please, because God knows what sorts of result typing any combination of "DP" into Google will bring forth.

Diamond Dallas Page.
No he's not a pornstar

If weak me were given a choice again, I'd grab myself a squat/power rack, a bench press, accompanying weights off gumtree and start on the stronglifts or starting strength program at home. It'd have saved me fluffing around at my local gym for the last 2 years or so. Doing squats and deadlifts properly definitely sorted out my back issues.

We plan to have an app for gaming consoles in the future. However, we do not have a release date for this app just et. So please stay tuned and we will announce any new developments as they arise.

In regards to the Wii U, we do not have plans for an app but what I have done is sent this as a suggestion to our Development team to further discuss.

Looks like a netflix future for me :( sorry stan.

Can Australia not be so shit with mobile plans? I see other countries talk about they have 5gb, 10gb, and unlimited data plans on mobiles. We get 1gb for $73/month. How is that shit even allowed? How has mobile data never increased yet the prices do constantly? Every year we get WORSE value and just accept it.

What is everyone getting MKx on? I can't make up my mind between ps4 or pc. I've got friends back home who will get it on ps4, but I doubt it will be playable online with them being in Europe and all.

It's best not to think about it.

Why are you going with such a bad plan? I agree that in general our plans suck, but if you shop around you can do much better than that. My wife has 1.5GB per month on Optus for $30/month.

Getting MKX on PS4. Apparently the previous MK ports to PC have been pretty bad and its the same team again doing MKX.

But that said, I am really hyped for MKX next week!!
