I wish I could find real Wii U games for $39 but noooo Nintendo keeps first party games full price for years.

I don't know anyone that's moved to Houston. They all go to Austin...I'm sure it will be a fun experience though! I'd imagine it be like living in Casino or Dalby. A party just waiting to happen!!!

Apologies in advanced if this isnt the right place for this, but i thought id start somewhere.
Im just trying to get a feel and see if theres any interest here for Nintendo game collectors, as I might be selling off most of my collection of Nintendo games and consoles. Most of them are Aussie PAL versions, but i do have about a dozen SNES NTSC games as well. Also I have a modded PAL SNES which plays all regions including NTSC, so if you wanted to clean up and get them all, they would be playable. Theyre all CIB and in really good condition too.
I'd probably advertise them on ebay and gumtree and go from there, but let me know directly too.

Playing devil's advocate here; at least the games are launching for only $79 (msrp) as standard now instead of the $99-$120 elsewhere (or closer to $150 including the season pass bullshit).

One good thing about Nintendo's steadfastedly sticking to launch pricing, it doesn't contribute to the race to the bottom mentality.
I know I shouldn't buy a WB, Square or Ubisoft at full price since they are going to be more or less given away within 3 months. Add Sony and MS first party since you seem to be able to get download codes from bundles really cheaply (I remember getting FC4 DL code for PS4 for about $30 less than a month after the game came out). doubly so for PC.
Also, why would I buy an indie game on PS4 when PS+ is likley to add it.

How expensive are Nintendo mobile games going to be?
I'm thinking two models
a) free to start - Iwata was championing this re-term and I don't see why unless they were planning for games under this model
b) probably $5 - 10 games, maybe highest at $15-20 I would guess. i can't see Nintendo dropping to $2.99 or lower while trying to retain their IP value.

Relative to the other consoles and their power ratings Wii U is indeed expensive.
Playing Devil's Advocate once again though, my Wii U collection is about 40 games already and has stacks of games imo that are worth owning. However its obvious it won't be as long term a machine as the ps4/xbo with NX on the way (pending details on what that is).
If you really wanted one, check ebay or gumtree for second hand sales. I can't imagine it'd be hard to find a cheap one.

Wii U games have been decently priced. I'm picking up Hyrule Warriors tomorrow for $55 at Target which isn't bad. I mean sure it's not the bargain basement stuff you get with other publishers but I think that's a fair price.
Their 3DS prices on the other hand are still terrible. I've been thinking about getting one now I'm on the train to work but the cost of building up that library is daunting. I wish I could grab their older titles for $20 on the eShop.

The last time I was in the local games shop I notice that there's a new edition of The Resistance out. The new cover threw me so hard.
Still haven't played the Coup though. The latest addition to my collection is Tsuro! (And Dragon Slayer when it arrives).

What's the most comprehensive website to track netflix content? Ideally by genre or newly added movies, I only know "moreflicks and am not too impressed with it.
Also is Batman Origins worth playing through, I need my Batman fix and AK is broken beyond belief for me.

I'd say no tbh. There is an early boss fight I really enjoyed but I wasn't fussed on the rest of the game. Had quite a few bugs on 360 too, to the point where my friend demanded a refund from JB.
(no idea how good the PC port is though)

It's pretty buggy too. I fell through the floor in the Iceburg Club, the game autosaved and that was it for my savegame. An endless fall through a sea of black.
So conflicted, may as well download it and see for myself. It's such a shame that AK is broken as I actually didn't mind the story.
In other news, I've just started playing Super Castlevania for the first time in my life, played to stage 4 and took a break. Can I just say that stage 3 had a whole bunch of bullshit platforming. Game is quite enjoyable though.

I have a cold. And a throat infection. And an ear infection. And an ear wax buildup so bad I have gone from being my normal hearing-in-one-ear self to a new and exciting can't-hear-shit-at-all self.
I went to the doctors and they did the "lol not our problem" thing, so I guess I have to wait for the infections to resolve themselves before I'm allowed to hear again. Good thing I'm going to see Dylan Moran in a few days.

That last round misdirect was the worst part. How Kyungrun looked at the end summed up how I felt too. His exit was classy, entertaining and even uplifting in a way only he can produce.
It was amazing to watch people fall for Sangmin's shenanigans all the time. I always wondered why he wasn't ignored and booted by players in a bid to avoid his betrayals and selfish play. This is not a jab at him, it's a legitimate strategy and no one does it better. He is so charismatic that he's able to do it time and time again, even when he's backed into a corner with seemingly no means of escape.
Teaming up with the most unlikeable, socially inept and strategically impaired people in the entire cast was his downfall. Sure, a person like that is an excellent shield because no one has a problem taking him down, except when that person openly says "hey guys, I'm secretly helping Sangmin who's betraying you" and doesn't realise it's no longer a secret after saying it. I thought Sangmin was truly screwed after that, but he once again finds a way out of trouble, until captain dipshit opens his mouth again after being explicitly told not to—bad dog!
Sangmin was right saying that it would be embarrassing to be knocked out by Kyunghoon. I do think that came, in part, from underestimating his opponent. What I believe was unfair is that Kyunghoon was allowed to extensively delay making a decision. This is a tactic known to frustrate an opponent and efforts are made to eliminate or reduce its effect in competitions with less requirements on mental clarity and focus. Ahyoung shouldn't have been able to do this in the first deathmatch of Season 3 and neither should Kyunghoon here. The Genius has made great strides in correcting its faults as the seasons has gone on, but this one remains.
Perhaps I'm more annoyed by the fact that Kyunghoon was there in the first place. Neither he nor Yohwan should have returned. There are many more people far more deserving of another appearance than these jokers. Yeonjoo only needed some self-confidence to show how clever she could be. Hell, Yohwan's wife/girlfriend showed more ability than Yohwan did in an entire season. If this isn't the last season of The Genius and "grand final" is just referring to crowning a victor from a cast of previous participants, she should definitely be on.
