Ah yes, this time of year always brings the "joy" of hayfever, where my nose is running like a tap and blocked at the same time and no amount of anything will stop my eyes from being itchy.
Weird thing is, I've never really suffered from it before... I remember getting the sniffles last year but not as severely as this, and I never EVER got hayfever when I was younger.

I don't know when the fuck it started happening but it's really pissing me off.

Update: Zyrtec seems to be working, after Telfast and Claratyne both failed me yesterday.

God Bless this warm weather, and the garments it inspires females to wear.
I KNOW! I was walking through town the other day and it was amazing.

Some top shelf material around.

Congrats CryptiK and welcome to the fold.

By the way, do you want 500 free Nintendo points? With the Wii Ambassador program available via the Wii Shop, you just need to say that somebody helped you connect your Wii online and both they and you will receive 500 points to spend on your Wiis for your trouble (enough for a NES game). You only have 30 days to do so after going online for the first time, so don't forget.

If you don't know who to perform it with, I'd be happy to help out (and anybody else getting a red Wii of course). jambo can speak up to how easy the process is as we completed the process for his new Wii this morning.

My whole weekend is focused around getting better (hayfever/cold hybrid) and the F1. Anyone who doesn't watch the F1 this weekend is a bum.

I didn't buy F1 so I can't watch it. Does it actually have a spectator mode?

Otherwise, I have had more or less the same week with being sick, but also almost being FIRED for being an idiot! But I'm not. EDIT: fired, that is!

Also, energy drinks are not a good cure for having a massive headache due to drinking too much coffee.

Oh, I meant the ACTUAL F1 :lol The game (strangely enough!) I've hardly played since I bought it. Thank-you-very-much undiagnosed ADHD! Starting 10:30pm Sunday with a ONE documentary on Webber followed by the last GP of this year.

God I hope he wins.

Thanks everyone for the kind words re: Gamasutra article. It was fun writing it!

I'm going to spend the weekend playing "Putting the finishing touches on the book collection of the first year of my webcomic". It's fun so far but I think the final boss
drawing the cover
I'm going to really struggle with. I mean I still need some help with the miniboss
coming up with a snappy title
.

Snappy title: "Miniature Boss"

Actually, scratch that, that's going to be the name of my band, production house, gift-card line and studio, so you can't have it.

I also really like the title "Glue" for some reason. Patent pending.

CONAN! It's the weekend, no excuse to not see it now, AusGAFfers!

Edit: Looks like it's the SD version that's just upscaled to go over channel 90, but still, Conan''s back on Aussie TV!

Anyone who doesn't agree that the Wii is console of the generation and then some is either living on Mars or underneath one of the shadiest rocks that Sharia Law-dominated Saudi Arabia has to offer...

I dont own any of the consoles so I cant agree :p, does that mean I'm living under a Saudi Arabian rock on mars?

I like reviews for games where a 7 out of 10 score is married to a body of text that overwhelmingly guarantees a high level of enjoyment.

Fuck Metacritic.

I don't own one and apart from the standard nintendo branded games i can't see why it would be the console of the generation.

Of course i was never a zelda or metroid fan even going way back to the originals, so they hold pretty much no weight to my decision, if i actually had one :lol .

It's the console of the generation in that every future console is now going to be heavily influenced. It's made motion controls mainstream, for good or bad.

If we were to rate the consoles in terms of their games though..... I sure wouldn't put Wii as the best console this gen.

It's been raining here all day as well... from what I can tell, from about midnight and still going.

Fake edit: Just saw an ad for a battery operated water pistol. This generation is made up of weaksauce little humans.

Sonic Colours, had a blast with it last night. Really fun, awesome LE with free controller at JB ftw.

I played it at JB yesterday, had a blast. The Secret Rings-esque running bits were a bit stupid, but everything else made me happy. I also was the only person to get an A on any level, everyone else had Ds. Apparently Sonic Colours is hard?
