I should socialize at uni more often. Met some cool doods and learned some useless things and decided to maybe not buy a 3DS until... Tomorrow, probably.
We'll have the whole of AusGAF assimilated soon enough...

Socialising also means you aren't sitting by yourself eating lunch etc and likely to be hit up by evangelical preaching types.

Win, win?

Wow @ Karateka avatar.

Still got that game somewhere too I think for the old Apple IIE haha
Yeah I had it on the Apple ][e as well. I still remember
finally killing that fucking bird and his master and calling my parents in to watch me finish the game... only to get karate kicked in the head by that bitch. Stockholm Syndrome I guess. Took me weeks to summon the strength to even try again :) Also lol at spoiler tags for this

I have never owned a portable gaming system. Ever.

This one hasnt made me want to start.

Well, not unless you call an android phone a portable gaming system :O

All that said, the amount of places i've carried a PC too, to lan, should almost make it count!

1984, definitely past spoiler grace period for that one haha..

Yeah seriously though, awesome game. So nerve-wracking. Was only about 6 when we first got it, so had more fun with doing the two steps back suicide/splat at the start then. Eventually finished it when I was about 10 though.

We had 4 games originally, this, PoP, Sabotage and Galaxion. Great times.

Haha, I couldn't resist the spoiler tags, it was too funny to pass up :)

Ah, Sabotage. So much fun shooting off their little parachutes - kind of twisted in hindsight though...

EDIT: Actually, wasn't Hot Pursuit like $40 on launch? I bought it on sale for $30 so don't really remember. It also looks like the price has been inflated since its release (it's $30 usd on the us store)

This shit is so confusing.

Crytek should be burnt at the stake anyway. RPS are unabashedly taking the piss, however.

Also, love your work Kritz. I expect the next NFS title to be $159 or something.
I posted it because it was deliciously satirical of the reaction to Crysis 2 (which is amazing btw). RPS also have a great article on why DA2 is such a disappointment rather than a piece of shit. It is generally just nice to read well though out pieces of gaming journalism every now and then.

Also Shift 2 was sent out to it's death, not enough marketing and not enough hype to release at full price so soon after the last NFS. GT5, Hot Pursuit and TDU2 are already on the market and keeping racing gamers busy, there is no need for another pretender. Especially when everyone is waiting for more juicy Forza 4 details to fuel the flamewars up again.

I have like 2700 Club Nintendo star points, any good shit coming soon or is the store as limited as ever?
I bought the Mario towels when the club first launched. Worst decision ever.

Speaking of club nintendo points, what do we importers of the 3ds do with all our current and future American points?

Create a Club Nintendo USA account I suppose.

EDIT: Also I added a bunch of people on the 3DS, get back online and start accepting people!

There's no point though since they don't ship outside the US. I've actually never really cared for the stuff on the star catalogues but having all these points and not using them seems kinda a waste.

New Archer! "It's like Mauschwitz in there"
Pure gold episode.

It always irritated me that we get screwed over here in Australia with the loyalty rewards stuff. Even though I now import everything so the point is moot. Ironic. At least we still get Collector Editions!

OH SHIT.

If there's a new Community out as well I will shit the pants then spend the rest of the night in front of the TV (for the duration of those two episodes).

Urgh I want to buy a 3ds and I don't know why. The only thing I'm even remotely interested in is Zelda. It's not out until June and I've played it 10 times already.

Update fever hits when everyone is talking raving about their new purchase. Happens with all shiny products. Easiest way to alleviate symptoms is to focus on the next big thing. I recommend 2 hours a day looking into the NGP or even the Xperia Play. If symptoms persist make sure to pick up some prescription medicine from OzGameShop, there is bound to be something for what ales ya.

DS? 999, Ghost Trick, Last Window and Okamiden are under $38!

Sky News has a report of the first quarter from tonight's footy game despite it being delayed in nearly every state.

Do they want to spoil the game for people?

EB had sold out of SSFIV so I'll have to wait till Monday to pick it up. I got Rayman 3D and Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars though, plus started Pokemon Black and Super Scribblenauts.

Also AR Cards fucking rule.

The software line-up is terrible. I'll wait until there is something worth playing before i get one.
I'm pretty sure the only Big N franchise that could sell me on one is a well-implemented 3D version of F-Zero GX. Until I see that, the 3D will only ever be a novelty.

Keep in mind that I haven't actually seen one in person yet, but so far the 3D just sounds like a novelty that will become tiresome fairly quickly... especially if games like SF4 play smoother with it turned off.

I've been importing a lot of my games for a while now. I ship my US Club Nintendo stuff to a friend's address in the States and he ships them to me. You can also use a service such as HopShopGo as your delivery address if you have no friends that could do it for you.

My sarcasm meter tends to give false readings during this particular time of the year, so I'll type it out just to be on the safe side :/

That's one painful-looking facial cleanup...

For that price I'm not surprised. You want a nice deep cleanse you need to pay at least $40-50. That's not even considering the quality of the wraps.
strangely enough it doesn't show dead space on the site when I look, checked it earlier today for the cheap HDD price and it is a 3 piece facial kit

Kfc double time. Wish me luck
Had my 2nd one, one original, one zinger...

It's quite weak... and isn't filling at all. It's just like a 2 Piece feed, but with 2 slices of cheese and a bacon rasher. Done.

Yeah I was surprised at how easy it was to get down. I was not surprised at the stomach ache I had a few hours later. Felt heavier the next day too. Tasted fantastic and wasn't as expensive as I thought it would be. Certainly more of a novelty than a regular thing.
