Dont they just use points to reduce the amount they have to pay Visa and stuff?Danoss said:That's all it would be. XBL won't abandon their points system to accommodate PayPal. As their points are an imaginary currency, they don't have to account for the rise and fall of our dollar.

If people buy the points at retail or soon through PayPal, sure. If people buy with their card through the dashboard, I don't see how that avoids fees.Markot said:Dont they just use points to reduce the amount they have to pay Visa and stuff?
Gazunta said:Paypal is awful. iTunes is bloated. Windows is awful. Microsoft is buggy. Google is evil. Apple suck. iPhone sucks. Android sucks. Record companies are greedy. Movies suck. TV is rotten.
is there anything that people actually like these days?
(For the record, I love Google products, have never had a problem with Paypal and use iTunes for everything media related, and the world hasn't ended, shrug)
Since the fee is a percentage of the purchase, it makes no difference.markot said:Well, you buy 1000 points, let say, and use it to buy 2 things.
Thats 1 transaction with Visa or Mastercard, whereas if you just use currency and credit cards, that would be 2!

Why skype? why now?...

They got the whole decisions/consequences thing a lot better than Bioware did. In DA2 and ME2 it really made no difference what you said in conversations. At least in Alpha Protocol it has tangible effects on gameplay. Plus being a spy was awesome. I wish they could do AP2 and avoid the jank from the first game, Obsidian only ever get to make one game in a series. They haven't had a chance to improve on the formula they create, unfair.legend166 said:Plus, putting a time limit on responses is such a simple, but brilliant idea.
Ask him if he has any cool ideas for the 3DS even if he isn't going to do any development on it. Also see if he has had any experience with Steam, if not he should look at doing smaller, experimental titles through Steam/PSN as I can see his ideas working well in the 4 hour/$20 area. Also means he can get 3 titles out a year.Jintor said:On the topic of No More Heroes, anybody got any questions for Suda51?

What is this Sims Med you are flogging? I've been ignoring all things sims related after 3 was crap (to me). I'll have to check it out.Salazar said:Sims Medieval is really pretty good.
I chill in my throne. Make soup. Duel with bandits. Forge an alliance with some giant who rules over crabs in a cave. Pursue isolationist policies in responding to my subjects' petitions. Kill bears.
More fun than I have had with Fable.

With stuff like "Let THE GAMEs begin", it makes it seem that they really want people to know they are behind this or something. Man, this is just beyond ridiculous.
