Also, PS3 demo of sleeping dogs is up as of last night. Just played through its 2 missions. Cant say I'm that enamoured by it. Combat is alright, but like a low-fi batman. If it was a bit more original I would give it a go, but thematically it doesnt do much for me.

Hey I like The Project. Enjoyable to watch and they aren't too fucking ignorant to push agendas that I think are outrageous. They even had a thing about the UQ election bullshit the other day where they pretty much called them out as cheats.
Also I have a huge crush on Carrie.

Wow. I've seen him twice and on both occasions the show lasted for about 2 hours. Hmmmm, maybe there was a problem? Which tour was it?
Dylan Moran, on the other hand, doesn't like to work for more than an hour, it seems.
Night out in North Hobart was fun. Buncha water pipes burst through the street (at least three?) and started pouring liquid shit all over the place! Also fucked the sidewalk up good.

I hadn't, I'd only seen him in Black Books so assumed he was 'just' a comedian. Tickets were bought on short notice so no research or anything.
Was for the Melbourne Comedy Festival so maybe it wasn't his full tour routine.

My sons favourite place in the world is Target even though he rarely goes there. Even when we are in KMart just looking around at all the cheap shit (toy sale, hell yeah) he will get bored and start saying "Target. Target." louder and louder until we tell him we will go to Target soon.

To be fair, Aussie racism is your garden variety background racism that really only gets ugly on a personal level these days. We even make jokes about it (see also: Fat Pizza, The Wog Boy, that weird show about couriers)
American racism gets ugly on a political level with an entire party seemingly nostalgic for the days of segregation and not having to care about black people's feelings.
That said, screw anyone who complains about immigrants using their own language to speak to one another in public. I'll speak to my family any way I want, dickheads, even if that language is a grammatically inconsistent, butchered amaglam of disparate Spanish dialects with a generous Aussie twang lathered on the top.
Besides which, I'd bet good money that I speak English better than anybody who is the type to complain about that kind of thing.

Damn Guild Wars 2, I found the Asura starting area jumping puzzle
just before midnight and ended up playing until I finished it, and damn it took a while to get all the timings right and find everything in it. Going to enjoy trying to find all these puzzles in the game. The Lion's Arch one was fun and quite interesting
I'm only level 22 so far, but have tried out a few classes to level 16 since the game started and have been enjoying my engineer a lot.
Work today is going to be difficult being so tired. Also, tried a bunch of stuff last night to get my controller working with Dark Souls and I officially give up. I find the controls for the kb+m to be unplayable. Last resort will be trying a re-map of the controls I guess.
