So yeah, you can probably get it fixed, maybe.

Oh, you already did it :p

Yeah, I emailed them immediately after I placed the order. I saw the mistake before I ordered with them and figured I'd get them to rectify it after the fact. If they didn't, I was only out $12 and all up it was still a good deal anyway.

They were pretty quick with the reply too (about an hour), I was taken by surprise.

Thanks for the help. I'll post pics when they arrive. It's going to be a big stack, that's for sure.

Oh, my 20% off issue is the same. One of my items (2/3 of the order price) just wasn't discounted. Yay, gaming the system worked after all!

Damn, I should've done the same. I have like 4,000+ points now. I don't know if that's a lot.

Edit: Looked it up, seems I have $28.70 of credit with the points I have. I'll keep an eye on the weekend specials.

but ever so delicious
nzb.su is free and should be open for registrations.
nzbs.org is closed but very similar to nzb.su
There's another called dognzb or something along those lines.
nzbmatrix is there, binsearch is ok but not great.

Those are your main usenet indexing sites.

Danoss, we definitely have to start scheduling for some new game days to show off our hauls to the rest of SydGAF :p. Your haul seems to dwarf mine, though, so I am looking forward to seeing it.

Are there any other choices for venue that make things easier on people now? Perhaps we could figure out something at Parramatta Leagues Club or maybe just even a more centralised pub that wouldn't mind us taking up a table...

I agree 100%.

I was going to show the list, but it's more fun and impressive to see pics of all the glorious boxes. I've got one other game on order with Games Empire, since Games Paradise don't stock it. Hopefully they'll all be here by the end of the month.

I still have a bunch of others SydGAF hasn't even seen yet. We'll have a busy time working our way through a mammoth pile of games. So many hours of fun await us...

A Leagues, Bowling or RSL club might do the trick to hold us all with room for some large games. If your example of Parramatta Leagues worked, it's not half bad since there is a free shuttle bus from the train station. We'll have to look into these options and see what will work best for all of us. The more people, the better of course.

Saints Row 3 is free this weekend on steam and you can preload it now
They do free weekends all the time? With Saints Row 3 you could probably finish it during the weekend without much effort. I put about 20 hours into Tropico 4 (or 3? I forget) during its free weekend.

Mizuguchi tickets are still available! If you live in Melbourne and don't go, you're a bit shit. Especially given they're only $20.

Did I say he's the guy behind Lumines, Meteos, Rez, Child of Eden and Sega Rally?

Well, I know that my local club (Randwick Labor Club) works as that's where my main board gaming group often meets. We need somebody living nearby to register, but once that's done, they should be able to invite the others to attend and I assume they have the same socialising areas that would be at RLC, which are open to members and guests to do with as they please usually, I think, provided you aren't gambling.

I certainly don't have trouble traveling for these things provided it can be reached easily by PT from the city.

Cool, well I can check out Parramatta Leagues if that's one of the possible locations and become a member. It's cheap as anyway.

I'm not opposed to travelling, but there is a limit on how far/how long it takes.

Yeah, I couldn't find any clubs near Rahk, Jintor hasn't spoken up at all and Parramatta was the only other obvious choice.

Sony relying on ps1 games for vita. Going by how pathetic ps1 downloads were on Australia's psn store, what would be the point of anything but a jp vita? Assuming you can understand Japanese.

Congrats! Now, make sure you remember the words to the anthem for your ceremony... Including the second verse...
As I suspect very few of us in AusGAF actually do know the second verse, so it'd be nice to have more.
I know it. Gives me a kick to sing it extra loud and clear when people who were born here mumble through the majority and shout "Advance Australia Fair".

From memory the PAL downloadable PS1 games on Vita are actually great, way more than NA got.

I wonder why they put Wyatt Roy's full name instead of just his last name like everyone else...

Also now we have a neat little list of who the real assholes in politics are!
all of them :p

EDIT: did not everyone vote? there appear to be some names missing.

VOOK

We don't know why he keeps buying PAL, either.
So where's the butthurt of the PS3 price?

Oh wait it's not a Nintendo product.

VOOK

So VOOK, how much is the 2+ year old Super Mario Galaxy 2 these days?

$50 from Zavvi.

Come on man, I know the pricing of Nintendo games years after they're out is expensive, I whine about it all the time. In fact in my story today on Kotaku I did too.

We haven't even got the 'classics' range here that every other region has. It's fucked.

Evergouge.

I like this term.

at least they still print super mario galaxy 2

unlike metroid

Nintendo don't print more than 1 run for a LOT of Wii games. You just never notice because they're all sitting there at $99.

Mario Party 8 for example.

I remember regretting so hard not getting Metroid trilogy when it was cheap at Target. It disappeared from everywhere not long after. I ended up getting a used copy in decent condition months later.

I gave up on ps1 games on psn years ago because pal got nothing aside from a handful of launch ps1 games. No symphony of the night, twisted metal 2, medievil, without 2097 etc

Just rubbish support

RRP won't last until Christmas time. Never does.

Also glad that WiiU RRP didn't hold up and JB are doing a great deal already.

If the WiiU played Blu Rays the wife might let me get one for the lounge room but no dice :/

EDIT: I thought mediEvil was up there at one point? I've got all the Crash games and Resi games for free on there, also most of the Final Fantasy ones. Sooooo good. Looking foward to running them on Vita.
