I've been looking for a Scotch or other Whisky (Maybe even Whiskey?!) I like, but so far they've been too sweet for me, which I've been told is a weird tripping point.
Much more of a Gin person in general.
And a pretty much unequivocal yes for Bacon. Though I might choose a good Ham over it if forced to.

Yep! I believe the terrifying bacon-filled monstrosity we cooked once was largely her idea, so I'd say so unless she's putting on a very good show.
I actually woke up with some semi-nasty bruises last time she punched me. Her kicks ain't bad neither!
And man, Gin really is the most controversial liquor, isn't it? I've made an enemy with my second post, all thanks to Gin!
real-talk, I know it really isn't for everyone. I don't begrudge anyone a dislike of gin. Just means more for me!

Any whiskey that is aged will become less sweet over time I think is true. You can find plenty out there! Maybe even ask at Dan Murphy's (or better yet wait for Danoss & Cod to post examples).

You definitely have to be extremely picky about where you buy a Martini. I've only ever had really great ones from one place.
As for Whisky, a friend of mine was going to organise a big tasting night but then we both got very poor, so it went on hold. Still really looking forward to finding something!

I used them a couple times a while back and they were pretty good. Easy to use and you can choose whatever company you want to ship with.
I used it to get Cards Against Humanity. It worked, even if it was balls slow.

That is weird, I've never found Scotch to be sweet or been told such until now. There are flavours that will appear in a Scotch which would be categorised as sweet, but they don't really come across like that. Bourbon must be unbearably sweet for you.
Perhaps you might like to explore the peated whiskys, which I would hope you wouldn't find sweet in the slightest. Jumping in head-first to the heavily peated ones might not be the best thing to do, especially in summer (maybe the summer thing is just me, I find the heavily peated whiskys are more of a winter warmer).
Talisker 10 might be a Scotch you find enjoyable, it's a nice medium between the two and one of my favourites.
Nothing wrong with liking Gin if that's your thing. If you do try Talisker 10 and if you want to go for even more peat, something like Lagavulin 16, and it's not to your tastes then maybe Scotch isn't for you and that's okay.

$200 or so, I've seen it for around $200 somewhere on ozbargain.com.au before but if you can't be bothered waiting for another deal there is always ebay. I haven't regretted buying my Vita for even a second, great system with some great games.
It's going to remain that way until kotaku stop posting fake news the way they always do.
Eh, the kotaku writers deserved it. They take a twitter post out of context, make a news story with a headline insulting the dev and an article insulting a country. I don't think they should feel entitled to a quiet request for clarification since they always post rubbish like that.

VLR on Vita is around $40 import.
I rear ended a punk kid this morning that decided to move 3 lanes at once and then stopped abruptly. Probably going to need a new bumper.
