Hey guys, have you seen this? It's fucking hilarious, and I think may have sold me on buying a Neo Geo X:

I think there was an expectation by the publisher that it wouldn't get approved by the Classification Board so they just didn't bother.

They expected issues that would cost more money so didn't bother.

Which sucks as that means they projected that Aussie sales on XBLA wouldn't be enough to cover classification/reclassification costs.

Maybe the physical retail edition is coming out here through the R18 classification, seems like the most 'business' way to go about it, even if it does rub us gamers the wrong way.

In any case make a US account, once it is downloaded you can play it on your regular account. Annoying that they require 3 forms of contact now though.

MMO's didn't get classified for a long time either, eventually mobile games will have to go through a similar (but cut down to save time/money for the government I expect) process.

Well yeah, but as it stands mobile software development is probably going to be the only hugely viable market for australian-produced content, so think of it as tarifs or something if that helps you sleep at night

Might be worth the risk price-wise, but as far as hardware that's failed on me, video cards are right up there with HDDs (well, what else is there I guess...) so I'd be wary.
