My constant trawling of Woolworths for clearance items has come back to haunt my poor tummy.
Picked up a ham/cheese pull apart for $1.50, score!

Today I am sick. And AusGAF is quiet as fuck. The one day I'm home in bed with my phone and nothing is happening aside from Left 4 Dead 3. Weak.

im very very very slowly reading through numenera and have decided that this shall be the game i use for the next ausgaf pnp table top rpg adventuer.
these books are hard to read and get your head around, at least i think so, as a person who would much rather learn through experience for these kinds of things.
i find nothing makes much sense until its put into practice and i see how things play out

Would go in on Sonic Racing but I won't have a PC that will be able to run it acceptably any time soon and am plenty happy with my PS3 copy.

Everyone else that doesn't already have it should buy it, though. Alex Kidd! NiGHTS! Ulalal! Vyse! In one of the best arcade racers in a long time! Can you feel the sunshine?

The dollar didn't drop much. I think a lower dollar would be more to do with overseas conditions improving than our own interest rates. The low interest rates is the RBA trying to encourage spending because the Government is too pissweak to do any spending of their own.

it edged up a bit! but yeah, every little sign of us recovery/qe tapering will weaken the poor aud

it's not that bad though lexi, estimates for end of 2014 are mid to low 80s!

Actually they've all passed it on in full. Westpac cut by more than the RBA even. ANZ are the only holdouts because they have their special monthly meeting for jerks.

I already have Transformed, but I'd happily chuck in $3 if it meant I had a code (or something) that I could give to someone else (like a relative or AusGAFfer who isn't Jase).

Do I want Chivalry? I think I do, but isn't it online-only or something?

Others don't interest me.

Edit: Looks like Chivalry doesn't have anything specifically single-player other than bot mode. Fuuuuuuck that.

So, if you can't get an even multiple of four for Transformed, I'll kick in a few bucks and maybe gift it to someone. $3 is a goddamn steal.

I loved The World's End. Its certainly different from Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz but still very good. I would have liked more belly laughs but all in all a good time was had by all 4 people in the cinema.

On the bright side, John Harper is working on an Apocalypse World hack of the same name. It's still in playtest and I'm sure it'll be great when it's completed. Current version for public version is here (not that I expect anyone to click through, or even get wtf it is if they do).
