I think analog sticks are a poor substitute for a mouse. A touchpad is a better substitute for a mouse.jambo said:You seriously think a rear touchpad is a good substitute for an analogue stick?
Fredescu said:I wanted to paste Tetsuya's menu instead, but they've taken it down off their website for some reason. I'm sure they used to have it up. Maybe it's because they customise it more now, as you say.
There are more ergonomics issues with a touchpad though, no? The 3D Metroid on the DS hurt my hand after a while. I don't think a second analog would have.viciouskillersquirrel said:A touchpad is a better substitute for a mouse.
I misread 'touchpad' as 'slidy pad thumb nub thingy'.viciouskillersquirrel said:Did the PSP have a back touchpad? No, I didn't think so.
EDIT: Sorry, that came across a little mean. The PSP needed a second form of analog control, but the PSV won't.

I had an 11 course menu thingo here a week or so back: http://www.kobejones.com.au/sydney/ and it was awesome, but the thing I felt was lacking was having a print out of the menu. The background music is fairly loud too (which is great if you're taking a baby, no one minds if he cries because they can't hear it!), so it was hard to ask the staff what it was. They had a little feedback card at the end of the night, so I was sure to write that on it.BanShunsaku said:Another nice touch was at the end of the night they give you a printed copy of the menu to take home, customised for what you ate and drank, and with the date and a personalised message depending on the occasion (happy anniversary etc).

I think that has more to do with the size of the system than anything else. It's possible that a right analog would have hurt your hands just as much, depending on the size of your hands and the placement of the stick.Fredescu said:There are more ergonomics issues with a touchpad though, no? Loved it, going again soon! Can't think of many other places I can get an 11 course menu for $77.commanderdeek said:KobeJones is a ripoff. I hate that place.

I didn't make it btw.

But that's only because you had a voucher!Fredescu said:Loved it, going again soon! Can't think of many other places I can get an 11 course menu for $77.
They have them so often that I assume they build them into the prices. After we went, there was another one available the next day. For $155 I'm not sure that the meal we had would be totally worth it, there were a couple of items that weren't that great, like Tempura vegetables, but hell 9 of the courses were awesome.commanderdeek said:But that's only because you had a voucher!
They seem to specialise in Wagyu and Alaskan crab, so maybe you didn't get the best stuff. Only two of the courses we had were some variation on sushi.commanderdeek said:I went once a long time ago and I just remember funky sushi that was overpriced:/

Seriously, lets have a post where we don't take anything literally.

Thank god they put in some time researching shit.

Depends, does the company that owns the material still get your money? If so, yes.jambo said:So what, illegally distributing copyrighted material is OK if it isn't available in your country?

Yeah possibly. Might give it chance if I stumble on a voucher, $155 is too much for that place imo.Fredescu said:They have them so often that I assume they build them into the prices. Circumventing region restrictions with hacks, mods and workarounds is illegal in some places. If you mod your console, but only play imports you bought yourself, I don't think you're doing anything wrong.jambo said:How would the company that owns the material get your money if you are illegally distributing it?
I actually have NO IDEA how that could ever possible happen with magazine scans.
