AusGAF IV - A No Hope, Government - Double the price, region locked and now adults

Was driving in the car with mum today, the car infront had a driver and one person in the backseat. Then out of nowhere another head popped up in the backseat. Where did the third head come from?

On a completely unrelated note, does anyone have any good or original video game ideas?

Have to agree with the Rage praise. It's would be a pity if that game brings down id since that's (for me) the best singleplayer thing they've done (in at least a while)

I think BF3 will only last me till mid week. Once I have MW3 in my hands I probably won't feel inclined to play Battlefield.

Giving head.

Also I kinda want to make a Crysis 2 mod that is focused on the player versus an alien invasion with the gameplay a cross between Crysis and Vanquish. Also have a score attack mode in the style of Lumines where you a gigantic beam wall of colour rotates around the level and you are scored on what enemies you kill in groupings. Also another mode where you have warp pads so it is a cross between Vanquish and Sonic.

iD are fine, that Kotaku rumour was bullshit and Bethesda came out and said as much. RAGE is selling okay and its success/failure would have no bearing on Bethesda anyway since they only just bought them recently. Maybe if Doom 4 is a bomba they might find the whip cracking for the first time but they should be fine.

Get the old Pandemic crew together I say. Considering my love for everything Egyptian I would be all for it.

That sounds awesome, I wonder how hard it would be to make something like that in the Crysis Engine (can't for the life of me remember what it's called).

Wasn't there that slave trader mock game thing a few months ago like this :P?

A very intriguing game popped up on GOG this week, called Gangland, that has city building/business management/rts/rpg elements. Very tempted to give it a shot as it sounds really impressive. Anyone played it bfore?

No idea. I'll take anything in Ancient Egypt, though. Tomb Raider, Timelapse, and Serious Sam aren't enough.

The Mummy Monster Game (children's novel, wherein a brother and sister are sucked into a game set in Pharaonic Cairo) made a big impression on me.

Yeah I played it years ago, probably when it first came out. It was a neat little game.

Thats about all I remember about it :P

That does look cool.

Hooray for Amazon not charging until shipment. Cancelled $40 Saints Row 3 and got it from GMG.

Also selected the "Found it cheaper elsewhere" reason for cancellation.

I still remember that time you posted super high res spider images here:/
I was tempted to do it again.

I might go spider hunting tonight to try and get some more cool photos. It's been a while.

Mr Goudkamp said the group would decide whether to continue to permanently occupy Sydney.

"We may have to reassess where we can have a permanent presence or whether we have a more impermanent process and make ourselves more agile in terms of getting more community support," he said.

But the movement lives on, with plans for an international day of action on December 10 and rallies during the Australian Labor Party (ALP) national conference in Sydney next month.
"The ideas are what matters and we are going to keep those alive in the best way we can," Mr Goudkamp said.

I'll assess it for you, knobhead. No chance. Rack off.

Spiders are poor misunderstood creatures. I rescued one yesterday that had made its home in a pile of clothes in the laundry. Poor little fella.

:o

Well, then I hope the spiders are all too busy at home playing Uncharted 3 instead of being out and about!

I like spiders. Spiders are cool. Seriously.

I squish them with out of date computer books....

then I throw the book out the next day :/
left there overnight as a warning to the others

Intellectually I know this. But my heart rate still elevates when I see a big one, and I have to force myself not to kill it. Orb weavers still get killed on sight if they are across the front path.

The others saw that. And now they bide their time. Sleep tight!

One of the best kinds, you heartless monster.
Bah. Let them build smaller webs, that don't tangle around my fucking head, and we can talk. While they build their webs from steel, across my damn path, they can fuck off.

Haha.

I saw coverage of the Occupy Sydney protest. They interviewed one guy who was marching, and he was all "You know I'm just a regular guy, I feel like we represent the 99%".

You don't represent 99% of the population when you're walking around with a Socialist Alliance flag, man.

Normally I try take insects back outside without killing them but not a chance with this guy.
One of my favourite spiders. They're huge and scary to most, but don't actually do anything to us. They're actually deathly afraid of us and will run away upon close proximity or contact. They're totally approachable though, so they won't leave until you're just about to touch them.

When they do run, it's really cool to see (and quite startling) as they are ridiculously fast. I went up to touch one once and it used silk to bungee off the wall to the ground and then swiftly ran off. I had no idea they could move that quickly until that moment.

The bonus is if they move into your house (aside from the awesome bug-killing skills), they make no mess whatsoever as they don't spin webs. They use their speed to attack prey.
